''A Fine Mess'' is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Kate Voegele. It is a combination of upbeat pop rock music, adding to the sound of her debut album, '' Don't Look Away'' (2007). Background Voegele first announced plans for a new album in 2008, while promoting her debut album, '' Don't Look Away''. Between this announcement and the album's release, several songs were previewed and released. Three promotional singles were released from the album, including "Angel", " Lift Me Up", and " Sweet Silver Lining". After the album's release, several songs from the album (including those on the album's deluxe edition) managed to chart on several '' Billboard'' Bubbling Under Hot 100 in the US. Promotion The album was promoted by the Lift Me Up Tour in which Voegele headlined. She also performed songs from the album while opening up for Jordin Sparks on her Battlefield Tour. Kate Elizabeth Voegele (; born December 8, 1986) is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She made her musical debut in 2003, with the release of her ''The Other Side'' extended play. She performed numerous local live shows to promote the album, and toured with artists such as John Mayer. In 2005, she released her second extended play, ''Louder Than Words''. Both had local success, and helped raise awareness of Voegele as an artist. During this time period, Voegele performed at events such as Farm Aid to promote her music, and began posting her music on popular social media network MySpace. She also won numerous awards and honors for her songwriting abilities. Voegele officially signed with Interscope Records in 2006, and immediately began working on her official debut album. ''One Tree Hill'' is an American Drama (film and television), drama television series created by Mark Schwahn, which premiered on September 23, 2003, on The WB. After the series' third season, The WB merged with UPN to form The CW, and from September 27, 2006, the series was broadcast by The CW in the United States until the end of its run in 2012. The show is set in the fictional town of Tree Hill in North Carolina and initially follows the lives of two half-brothers, Lucas Scott (Chad Michael Murray) and Nathan Scott (James Lafferty), who compete for positions on their school's basketball team, and the drama that ensues from the brothers' romances. The Battlefield Tour was a concert tour by American pop music, pop singer Jordin Sparks in support of her second studio album ''Battlefield (album), Battlefield''.
