''A Fazenda 10'', also known as ''A Fazenda 10: Mais Conectada'', stylized ''A Fazenda 10: + Conectada'' (English: ''The Farm 10: More Connected'') is the tenth season of the Brazilian reality television series ''A Fazenda'', which premiered Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 10:45 p.m. on RecordTV. Marcos Mion replaced Roberto Justus as the main host, while season 9 winner Flávia Viana makes her debut as the show's new special correspondent, replacing Sheila Mello. Marcos Mion
Marcos Chaib Mion (born June 20, 1979 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian TV host, actor, voice actor, author and businessman (Partner of V.Rom). Mion studied Philosophy at Universidade de São Paulo, and later graduated in Communication and Body Arts at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. Career He started his career on TV as an actor in 1999, on the Rede Globo's show ''Sandy e Júnior''. In 2000, he went to work on MTV Brasil, hosting the shows ''Supernova'' and ''Piores Clipes do Mundo'' (''Worst Videos in the World'', in Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese). With the success of the latter, Mion was hired by Rede Bandeirantes in 2002, where he hosted the show ''Descontrole'', known for a lot of live improvisation. The show features a group of celebrities, known as Explorers, living together on a desert island and competing against each other in extreme challenges to avoid being exiled and continue their quest for lost treasures and the grand prize of R$500.000. Prior to the live finale, a public vote is held to determine who would become the season's Favorite Explorer and win the special prize of R$250.000. Nakagima won competition after defeating Kaik Pereira at the Island's final treasure hunt and took home the grand prize of R$500.000. Solange Gomes won the public's special prize of R$250.000 with 49.82% of the final vote against Ste Viegas, Bruno Sutter and Caique Aguiar.
