Fiestar ( ko, 피에스타) was a South Korean girl group formed by Kakao M. Before the group's debut, they released a duet with label mate IU titled “Sea of Moonlight” for LOEN Entertainment's collective label album. The track ended up being a domestic success and entered the top ten of the Gaon Digital Chart, earning the group attention before their debut. The group officially debuted on August 31, 2012 with the single album "Vista" and six members: Cao Lu, Jei, Linzy, Hyemi, Cheska and Yezi. The group released their second single album "We Don't Stop" on November 9, this time to mixed reviews. On March 20, 2014, member Cheska officially left the group. In July of that same year, they released a song titled "One More" to backlash and controversy due to its supposedly risqué lyrics, the song ended up being banned from broadcast by MBC, and the group had to change the lyrics for their follow up promotions. Cao Lu (; born August 30, 1987) is a Chinese singer, actress, and television personality. She was a member of the South Korean girl group Fiestar. Early life Cao Lu was born in Zhangjiajie, Hunan, China on August 30, 1987. She is an ethnic Miao people, Miao. Cao Lu studied at Chung-Ang University in South Korea. ''Weekly Idol'' is a South Korean variety show that began in 2011 and currently airs Wednesdays at 7:30 PM KST on MBC M, and 12:00 AM KST on MBC Every1. ''1000 Song Challenge'' (), also known as ''Challenge 1000 Songs'', is a South Korean karaoke singing competition television series, which aired on SBS from 2000 to 2014. During the show, guests compete by singing popular songs accurately from memory. The songs are chosen randomly from a pool of 1000 songs. Unlike normal karaoke, the lyrics are not shown, so it is easier to make mistakes. The contestants with the highest scores proceed to the next round. In one segment of the show, "Run Karaoke", contestants race to the microphone and whoever gets there first gets to sing a song and gain points. In another segment, the contestants hear the beginning of a song, and the first one to correctly name the song gains points.
