A Ciegas (película)
''Blinded'' (original Spanish title: ''A ciegas'') is a 1997 romantic thriller directed and written by Daniel Calparsoro. The film's director Daniel Calparsoro was nominated for the Golden Lion award at the 1997 Venice International Film Festival, but lost to Takeshi Kitano's romantic film ''Hana-b''i. Plot Marrubi (Najwa Nimri) works at a dry cleaners and must endure the unwanted advances of her boss Clemente (Ramón Barea). However, Marrubi is also a terrorist in the ETA with her lover, Mikel ( Alfredo Villa). They target a wealthy businessman for a heist intending to kill him in the process. When Marrubi deliberately shoots her colleague instead of the intended victim, both she and Mikel are on the run. At Mikel's country house, matters are complicated by another one of their group who insists Marrubi be killed for her betrayal. Daniel Calparsoro López-Tapia (born 11 May 1968) is a Spanish filmmaker, considered one of Spain's most adept action film directors. Biography Daniel Calparsoro López-Tapia was born in Barcelona on 11 May 1968, although he was raised in between Hondarribia and San Sebastián, in Gipuzkoa. He studied Political Science in Madrid simultaneously with filmmaking studies, the latter of which he further advanced in New York. From 1995 to 2000, he was married to actress and singer Najwa Nimri. He married actress Patricia Vico Patricia Vico González (born 27 August 1972) is a Spanish actress. , released in the United States as ''Fireworks'', is a 1997 Japanese crime drama film written, directed and edited by Takeshi Kitano, who also stars in it. The film's score was composed by Joe Hisaishi in his fourth collaboration with Kitano. is the Japanese word for "fireworks." Takeshi Kitano
is a Japanese comedian, television presenter, actor, filmmaker, and author. While he is known primarily as a comedian and TV host in his native Japan, he is better known abroad for his work as a filmmaker and actor as well as TV host. With the exception of his works as a film director, he is commonly known by the stage name .
