''A Blessed Life'' (Chinese: 吉人天相) is a Singaporean Chinese sitcom sponsored by Pioneer Generation Package, produced by MediaCorp Channel 8. It stars Li Nanxing, Chen Liping, Zhu Houren, Brandon Wong, Richard Low and Youyi as the main characters of the sitcom. Li Nanxing
Jonathan Lee Nam Heng (born 7 November 1964), better known as Li Nanxing (), is a Singaporean actor and was named as 'Ah-Ge' (大哥, "big brother") of Caldecott Hill. He is also a film director and producer. Li has acted in many Chinese-language television dramas produced by MediaCorp Channel 8. He had won the Best Actor awards three times in the Star Awards, an annual acting awards in Singapore. Li was also one of the first batch of actors to receive the All-Time Favourite Artiste award with Zoe Tay & Chew Chor Meng. Lin Meijiao
Lin Meijiao () is a Singaporean actress. Life and career Lin was educated at Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School. Lin has acted in many drama serials and is a multi-nominee for the Best Supporting Actress category at the annual Star Awards. Star Awards For Young Talent
The Star Awards (Chinese: 红星大奖) are awards for artistic and technical merit in the media organisation Mediacorp of Singapore where Mediacorp recognises entertainers under their employment for outstanding performances of the year. The awards are given annually in a ceremony. The various category winners are awarded a trophy, with initial designs featuring various star shapes. The star was subsequently removed and the trophy is designed as a S shaped column, depicting the star. History The 1st Star Awards presentation was held on 26 February 1994, took place at the Caldecott Broadcast Centre, MediaCorp TV Theatre with an audience of about 500 people. There have no other pre-show and post-awards ceremony held in that year. Star Awards 2016 (also SA2016, Chinese: 红星大奖2016) is a double television award ceremony which is held in Singapore. It is part of the annual Star Awards organised by Mediacorp for free-to-air channels Channels 8 and U. Li Wenhai (, born ) is a veteran Singaporean actor. He has acted in various Singaporean television dramas. Career In 1981, Li joined Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC). In August 1991, after filming ''Jealousy Potion 100'', Li applied to have an early termination to his acting contract with SBC and to transfer to the voice dubbing department. After eight months, in April 1992, he resigned from SBC. After leaving SBC, Li opened a shop with friends selling Buddhist equipment at Balestier Shopping Center. The shop was eventually closed down in 1988 after the shop lease had finished and business was poor. Li was then invited by the producer and writer of ''Riding the Storm'' to act in the drama. He left Media Corporation of Singapore (rebranding of SBC) in 2003 due to migraine. In 2004, Li joined SPH MediaWorks. Wang Yuqing
Tan Chooi Leong or better known as Wang Yuqing (, born 9 September 1961) is a Singaporean actor. Education Wang studied at Willow Avenue Secondary School. Career Prior to his acting career, Wang served out his NS days in the Aerodrome fire service. He was offered a contract by the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) after completing the 3rd drama training course in 1982. Wang first acted in SBC's Army series before starring in SBC's earliest idol drama, ''The Flying Fish'', in 1983, which catapulted him to stardom. In 1988, Wang almost joined Hong Kong's TVB but decided against it, citing his poor grasp of Cantonese and reluctance to leave a stable environment.
