''A Bailar'' is the debut studio album by Argentine singer Lali, first released on 21 March 2014. The album peaked at No. 5 in Argentina, where it was certified gold by the Argentine Chamber of Phonograms and Videograms Producers (CAPIF). For the 2015 Gardel Awards, ''A Bailar'' won in the categories for "Best New Pop Artist Album" and "Best Female Pop Album". Espósito embarked on a concert tour to promote the album, A Bailar Tour. Lali Espósito
Mariana Espósito (born 10 October 1991), known professionally as Lali Espósito (or simply Lali), is an Argentine singer, actress, dancer and model. Espósito began her career as an actress and singer in 2003 when she joined the cast of the children's telenovela ''Rincón de Luz'', created by producer Cris Morena. She had other subsequent supporting roles in telenovelas ''Floricienta'' (2004–2005) and ''Chiquititas'' (2006), and a main role in ''Casi Ángeles'' (2007–2010), the latter of which increased her fame in Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe. From 2007 to 2012, Espósito, along with four other cast members from ''Casi Ángeles'', was part of the teen pop band Teen Angels, which originated from the series. The A Bailar Tour was the first headlining concert tour by Argentine singer Lali in support of her debut studio album, '' A Bailar'' (2014). The tour began on April 19, 2014, in Buenos Aires and concluded in on April 25, 2016, Tel Aviv. It was the highest-grossing tour of 2015 in Argentina. Background On September 2, 2013, Espósito had launched her solo career in an show at La Trastienda. The same night, she performed " A Bailar", " Asesina" and "Del Otro Lado". On March 15, 2014, a few days before the album release, Espósito performed "A Bailar" at the Caserta Festival in Italy. The first leg of the tour included shows in Argentina, Uruguay, Spain and Italy. ''Bailando por un Sueño'' (literally "Dancing for a Dream"; known simply as Bailando) is an Argentine dance competition television series that premiered on 17 April 2006, on El Trece. It is the Argentine version of the Mexico series '' Bailando por un Sueño''. The show is hosted by Marcelo Tinelli. The format of the program changed over time. Originally, the format of the show consisted of a celebrity paired with an amateur dancer called ''dreamer''. They had to demonstrate their skills in various styles in order to fulfill the amateur dancer's dream. Since season 5, nevertheless, the show consists of a celebrity paired with a professional dancer, representing a charity. Several dreamers of early seasons came back as professionals in later years. ''Bailando 2014'' was the ninth Argentinian season of ''Bailando por un Sueño''. The season premiere was on April 28, 2014, hosted by Marcelo Tinelli. 28 couples competed. The jury was reduced from six to four members in this season: returning judges Marcelo Polino and Moria Casán, joined by Soledad Silveyra and Nacha Guevara. Additionally, two former judges ( Aníbal Pachano and Laura Fidalgo) are competitors in this season. Norma Pons was to be part of the event, but due to a heart attack died on April 29. Ballad
A ballad is a form of verse, often a narrative set to music. Ballads derive from the medieval French ''chanson balladée'' or '' ballade'', which were originally "dance songs". Ballads were particularly characteristic of the popular poetry and song of Britain and Ireland from the Late Middle Ages until the 19th century.
