AXN Black is a television channel, channel operated by Sony Pictures Television International, Sony Pictures Television International Networks Europe. Its programming is basically focused on action and crime television series and movies. The channel was first launched in Portugal, Angola and Mozambique on May 9, 2011 and replaced Animax. Central European version was launched on October 1, 2013 in Hungary, Poland, Romania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Moldova where has replaced AXN Sci Fi. On October 3, 2017 the channel was replaced by Sony Movie Channel (Hungary), Sony Movie Channel in Hungary. On February 17, 2020 the channel was replaced by AXN Movies (Portugal), AXN Movies in Portugal, Angola and Mozambique. 576i is a standard-definition television, standard-definition digital video mode, originally used for digitizing analog television in most countries of the world where the utility frequency for electric power distribution is 50 Hz. Because of its close association with the legacy color encoding systems, it is often referred to as PAL, PAL/SECAM or SECAM when compared to its 60 Hz (typically, see PAL-M) NTSC-colour-encoded counterpart, 480i. ''Childrens Hospital'' (originally titled ''Children's Hospital'' as webisodes) is an American black comedy television show, television series and web series that parodies the medical drama genre, created by and starring actor/comedian Rob Corddry. The series began on the web on The WB, TheWB.com with ten episodes, roughly five minutes in length, all of which premiered on December 8, 2008. Adult Swim picked up the rights to the show in 2009 and began airing episodes in 2010.
