The ATP Saint-Vincent, also known as the Campionati Internazionali della Valle D'Aosta, was a men's tennis tournament played in Saint-Vincent, Italy. Pavel Složil
Pavel Složil (born 29 December 1955) is a former professional tennis player from Czechoslovakia. Složil enjoyed most of his tennis success while playing doubles. During his career, he won 32 doubles titles and finished runner-up an additional 29 times, including at the French Open in. Slozil and his partner, Renata Tomanová (also from Czechoslovakia), won the 1978 French Open mixed-doubles championship, defeating Virginia Ruzici (Romania) and Patrice Dominguez (France). The mixed doubles championship was an important event in those days, contested by top players, with John McEnroe and Mary Carillo having won the year before. In 1985, Složil achieved a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 4. Složil participated in eleven Davis Cup ties for Czechoslovakia from 1978 to 1986, posting a 7–2 record in doubles and a 4–2 record in singles. The ATP Tour is a worldwide top-tier tennis tour for men organized by the Association of Tennis Professionals. The second-tier tour is the ATP Challenger Tour and the third-tier is the ITF Men's World Tennis Tour. The equivalent women's organisation is the WTA Tour. ATP Tour tournaments The ATP Tour comprises ATP Masters 1000, ATP 500, and ATP 250 and the ATP Cup. Cyril Suk
Cyril Suk III (born 29 January 1967) is a former professional tennis player. A doubles specialist, Suk won five Grand Slam titles, one men's doubles and four Grand Slam mixed doubles titles and 32 ATP Tour doubles titles during his career. Early life Suk was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia, a member of a prominent Czech tennis family. His mother, Věra Suková, was a women's singles finalist at Wimbledon in 1962. His father, Cyril Suk II, was President of the Czechoslovak Tennis Federation. His sister, Helena Suková, was an even more successful professional player on the women's tour who teamed-up with Suk to win three Grand Slam mixed doubles titles in the 1990s. Josef Čihák
Josef Čihák (born 19 March 1963) is a former professional tennis player from the Czech Republic who competed for Czechoslovakia. He now works as a tennis coach at TK Sparta Praha. Career Čihák was most successful as a doubles player, reaching two doubles finals in the 1989 Grand Prix, at Båstad and Saint-Vincent, winning the latter. He had previously made doubles semi-finals at Prague and Palermo in 1987 and also Prague and Munich in 1988. As well reaching those two finals in 1989, Čihák was also a semi-finalist at the Athens Open, in the singles. At Grand Slam level he lost all of his four singles matches. The toughest opponent he came up against was Mats Wilander in the 1988 French Open, the number three seed who went on to win the tournament. Balázs Taróczy ( hu, Taróczy Balázs; born 9 May 1954) is a retired tennis player from Hungary. The right-hander won 13 singles titles in his career, and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 12 in April 1982. Tennis career Taróczy was six times a Hungarian national champion. One of the game's premier doubles players, Balazs and partner Heinz Günthardt won the 1985 Wimbledon doubles title. Christian Carlos Miniussi Ventureira (born 5 July 1967) is a former tennis player from Argentina. Miniussi turned professional in 1984. He started playing tennis at the Adrogué Tennis Club and he also represented his native country as a lucky loser at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, where he was defeated in the first round by France's Fabrice Santoro.
