Prince Asem bin Nayef ( ar, الأمير عاصم بن نايف; born 27 April 1948) is the son of Prince Nayef bin Abdullah (a younger son of Abdullah I of Jordan) and Princess Mihrimah Sultan (granddaughter of Sultan Mehmed V of the Ottoman Empire). Princess Sana'a Asem (née Sana Kalimat; born 16 November 1960) is a Jordanian princess due to her marriage to Prince Asim bin Nayef and she has Circassian origin. Muhammad Assem Qanso ( ar, عاصم قانصوه, born 1937 in Baalbek) is a Lebanese politician. He is a former leader of the Lebanese Ba'ath Party. Political career Qanso joined the Lebanese Ba'ath in 1953. During the Lebanese war, the Lebanese Ba'ath was divided into two hostile groups: a pro-Iraqi group and a pro-Syrian group. Qanso is staunchly pro-Syrian. Assem Ahmed Marei (Arabic: عاصم مرعي) is an Egyptian basketball player for Changwon LG Sakers of the Korean Basketball League.
