ARO Muscelul Câmpulung
Asociația Club Sportiv ARO Muscelul Câmpulung, commonly known as Muscelul Câmpulung, is a Romanian professional football club based in Câmpulung, Argeș County and currently playing in the Liga III, the 3rd tier of the Romanian football league system. The club has known glory during the communist era when, under the ownership of ARO, played constantly at the level of second or third league. The collapse of the off-road cars manufacturer has seriously affected the team which went bankrupt in the early 2000s. After the bankruptcy of ARO in 2003, the club was refounded several times, firstly in 2007 as ''Sporting Câmpulung'', then in 2012 as ''CN Dinicu Golescu'' (named after the high school from the town), but at its best, the team played in the Liga III, but was dissolved again in 2016. Gheorghe Mihali
Gheorghe Mihali (born 9 December 1965) is a retired Romanian Association football, football defender and current manager of Liga III squad FC Dunărea Călărași, Dunărea Călărași. Career He debuted in Divizia A with FC Olt Scornicești in 1984. He went to FC Dinamo București, Dinamo București in 1991, and helped Dinamo win the title in his debut season. In 1995, he was bought by French club En Avant Guingamp where he spent almost four seasons. Following the relegation of Guingamp in 1998, Mihali eventually returned to Dinamo București where he lifted the Romanian cup titles in 2000 and 2001 before retiring as a player. Ionel Augustin
Ionel Augustin (born 11 October 1955) is a Romanian retired footballer who played as a striker. Club career Ionel Augustin, nicknamed ''Oneață'' was born on 11 October 1955 in Bucharest and started to play football in 1966 at junior level at Dinamo București, making his Divizia A debut for the senior squad on 23 April 1975 in a 5–0 victory against Chimia Râmnicu Vâlcea. Nicolae Dobrin
Nicolae Dobrin (; 26 August 1947 – 26 October 2007) was a Romanian footballer who played as an attacking midfielder and a manager. Nicknamed ''Gâscanul'' ("The Gander") or ''Prințul din Trivale'' ("The Prince of Trivale"), he is considered one of Romania's greatest footballers. Renowned for his dribbling ability, Dobrin received the Romanian Footballer of the Year award on three occasions, in 1966, 1967, and 1971, and has a stadium in native Pitești named after him. Ion Oblemenco
Ion Oblemenco (13 May 1945 – 1 September 1996) was a Romanian football striker who spent the majority of his career playing for Universitatea Craiova. He is the club's all-time top goalscorer with a total of 167 goals, and the club's stadium is named in his honour. Early years Oblemenco was born in Corabia, Olt County. He began his youth career in 1958 at the age of 13 at Progresul Corabia, where he played till 1960, and then moved to Electroputere Craiova for two years. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. The teams placed from 7th to 12th will play a relegation play-off, where the last two teams are relegated to Liga III.
