AO Chania
AO Chania, short for ''Athlitikos Omilos Chania'' ( el, Aθλητικός Όμιλος Χανιά, translated ''Athletic Club of Chania''), was an association football club based in Chania on the island of Crete. It was officially founded in 1945, and has consistently represented the city in various levels of the Greek football league system, most notably the Football League (2nd National Division). The club merged with neighboring club Kissamikos in 2017 to form AO Chania Kissamikos F.C. History Since 1970, ΑΟ Chania have played fourteen times in the Second Division, nine times in the Gamma Ethniki, third tier of the Greek football league system, and twelve times in the (now defunct) 4th Division. The club nearly achieved a historic promotion to the Alpha Ethniki during the 1971−72 season, when they finished 3rd in the Second Division Group A, 4 points behind Group Champions Kalamata. Perivolia Municipal Stadium
Perivolia Municipal Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Mournies, Chania, Greece. From the 2012-2013 season, Platanias FC were based at Perivolia Municipal Stadium, which led to extensive upgrading and modernization work at all levels during the summer of 2012, to meet in full all obligations set by the organizing principle of the Greek Super League. PGS Kissamikos F.C. is a Greek football club, based in Kissamos, Chania. The club colors are blue and white, while its crest featured a dolphin. History Kissamikos was founded in 1926, representing the town and municipality of Kissamos, Chania. 2013–14 Football League (Greece)
The 2013–14 Football League is the second division of the Greek professional football system and the fourth season under the name Football League after previously being known as ''Beta Ethniki''. This is the first season after 1982–83 that the league has more than one groups. The groups are created based on geographical criteria. North Group In the north group, as well as in the south group, the bottom three teams are relegated. None of the teams will be promoted directly.
