ANAPROF 2006 is the 2006 season of the Panamanian football (soccer) league, ANAPROF. The season (''officially "Torneo Apertura 2007"'') started on February 3, 2006 with the ''"Torneo Apertura 2006"'' and finalized on November 25, 2006 with the ''Torneo Clausura 2006.'' The Apertura champion was San Francisco F.C. and the Clausura champion was Tauro F.C., on December 3, 2006 the ANAPROF 2006 final was played and San Francisco was crowned champion over Tauro. Change for 2006 *Chorrillo F.C. were renamed Municipal Chorrillo before the start of this season. Santiago De Veraguas
Santiago de Veraguas () is the capital of the province of Veraguas, in the Republic of Panama, and the district or municipality of the same name. Located in the countryside next to the Pan American Highway. Bounded on the north by San Francisco District, south by the District of Montijo, east by the District of Atalaya and west by the District of La Mesa. Gabriel Torres (Panama)
Gabriel Arturo Torres Tejada (born 31 October 1988) is a Panamanian professional footballer who plays for Deportes Antofagasta and the Panama national team. Career Club He was widely regarded as the top prospect from Panama and in 2007 he traveled twice to England to train with Manchester United and once in Spain with Valencia. On his second flight to Manchester he got injured on the second day of practice and had to return home, where he played for ANAPROF side Chepo. In 2008, he was loaned for 6 months to 2007 Mustang Cup runner-up La Equidad, his loan contract was later extended for 6 extra months. In his debut in Colombia, Torres scored in a 2–3 loss against Deportivo Pereira. In January 2009 Torres signed a loan contract for a year with current Mustang Cup champions América Cali.
