AIK Hockey Dam
AIK Hockey Dam is a professional ice hockey team in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (, SDHL), the top flight of Swedish's women's ice hockey. They play in Solna Municipality in Stockholm, Sweden at the Ritorps Ishall. History AIK were promoted to Riksserien, the predecessor of the SDHL, in 2008. They won the Swedish Championship twice in their first five top-flight seasons, in 2009 and 2013. In 2017, the team participated in the Minnesota Whitecaps' tour of Stockholm, playing against them on 22 August. After dropping in the standings again, down to 7th in the 2017–18 season, Jared Cipparone was brought in to take over as head coach for the club. Solna Municipality ( sv, Solna kommun or , ) is a municipality in Stockholm County in Sweden, located just north of Stockholm City Centre. Lisa Ida Marie Johansson (born 11 April 1992) is a Swedish ice hockey player and member of the Swedish national team, currently playing in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) with Luleå HF/MSSK. A two-time Olympian, she represented Sweden in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang and in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. 2018–19 SDHL Season
The 2018–19 SDHL Season was the 12th season of the Swedish Women's Hockey League. The season began in September 2018 and ended in February 2019. Luleå HF/MSSK were the regular season champions for the fourth season in a row, and defeated Linköping HC 3-2 in the playoff finals to be crowned playoff champions for the third time in the last four years. 2022–23 SDHL Season
The 2022–23 SDHL season was the sixteenth ice hockey season of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). The season began on 16 September 2022 and concluded on 26 February 2023. Göteborg HC withdrew from the league on 2 November 2022, reducing the number of teams to nine for the remainder of the regular season. The playoffs began on 1 March and concluded on 20 March 2023. Luleå HF/MSSK swept Brynäs IF Dam in the playoff finals to claim the club's sixth Swedish Championship title. Teams All ten teams from the 2021–22 SDHL season returned for the 2022–23 season. Allmänna Idrottsklubben Ishockeyförening (abbreviated ''AIK IF'', also known as ''AIK Hockey'', often abbreviated ''AIK'' in hockey subjects), is the ice hockey department of sports club Allmänna Idrottsklubben based in Stockholm, Sweden. The 2019-20 SDHL Season was the 13th season of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). The season began in September 2019 and ended in February 2020. The playoffs began a week after the end of the regular season, but the finals were cancelled due to the 2019–20 coronavirus outbreak. HV71 were regular season champions, and due to face Luleå HF/MSSK in the finals. Linköping HC Dam or LHC Dam is an ice hockey team in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). They are the representative women's ice hockey team of Linköping HC, a sports club based in Linköping, Östergötland, Sweden, and play at the Stångebro Ishall. LHC Dam won the Swedish Championship in 2014 and 2015.
