The AFC Solidarity Cup is an international Association football, football competition for Asian Football Confederation (AFC) member countries who are out of the continental qualifiers at early stage. The tournament was created following the termination of the AFC Challenge Cup. Format The competition currently features a maximum 10 national teams, where each team is guaranteed a minimum of 4 matches. The first edition took place in November 2016 and the second edition, scheduled for November and December 2020, was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic in Asia. The Asian Football Confederation is the governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal in some countries/territories in Asia and Oceania. It has 47 member countries most of which are located in Asia. Australia, formerly in Oceania Football Confederation, OFC, joined AFC in 2006. Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands, both Territories of the United States, territories of the United States, are also AFC members that are geographically in Oceania. The Asian Ladies Football Confederation (ALFC) was the section of AFC who managed women's association football in Asia. Koji Gyotoku
is a former Japanese Association football, football player and manager. He is the current head coach of the Cambodia national under-21 football team and Bati Youth Football Academy, Bati Academy. Playing career Gyotoku was born January 28, 1965, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. He went to school at Shizuoka Municipal Shimizu Fifth and Tokai Western High School. After high school, he went to Tokai University. Gyotoku began his football career with SV Werder Bremen II, Werder Bremen II, a team in West Germany. Mohammad Shah Razen bin Said (born 14 December 1985) is a Bruneian international footballer who plays as a striker for DPMM FC and the Brunei national team. He is the current record goalscorer for Brunei with eight goals. The Northern Mariana Islands national football team represents the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands in international men's football. The team is controlled by the governing body for football in the Northern Mariana Islands, the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association, which is a member of the East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) and since December 2020 a full member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
