AEW All In (2023)
The 2023 All In, also promoted as All In London at Wembley Stadium or simply All In London, was the second All In professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event. It was the first edition of the event to be produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) after the inaugural All In was held independently in September 2018, which subsequently inspired the formation of AEW in January 2019. The event took place during the United Kingdom's August Bank Holiday weekend on August 27, 2023, at Wembley Stadium in London, England. This marked AEW's debut in the United Kingdom, their first PPV event held outside of North America, and the company's first event to be held in an association football stadium. Austin Kirk Jenkins (born July 5, 1989) is an American professional wrestler currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he performs under the ring name Adam Cole. He is also known for his tenures with WWE and Ring of Honor (ROH). Cole began his eight-year tenure with ROH in 2009 and went on to become the first-ever three-time ROH World Champion. Best Friends (professional Wrestling)
Best Friends are a professional wrestling stable, originally a tag team consisting of Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta. The team is currently performing in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). They first formed in Pro Wrestling Guerilla (PWG), where they were the winners of the 2014 Dynamite Duumvirate Tag Team Title Tournament. Since the inception of AEW in 2019, the duo has regularly appeared alongside Orange Cassidy. Starting in 2021, they would be joined by Kris Statlander and Wheeler Yuta, the latter of whom left the team in 2022. The 2023 Forbidden Door was the second annual Forbidden Door professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event and supershow co-produced by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and the Japan-based New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). It took place on June 25, 2023, at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was AEW's first PPV to be held outside of the United States and NJPW's first traditional PPV to be held in Canada. The 2021 Grand Slam was the inaugural Grand Slam professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was held on September 22, 2021, at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York. The two-part event was broadcast on TNT as special episodes of AEW's weekly television programs, '' Wednesday Night Dynamite'' and '' Friday Night Rampage''—''Dynamite'' aired live while ''Rampage'' aired on tape delay on September 24. A total of 14 matches were contested. Five aired live on ''Dynamite'' while six aired on ''Rampage'', which was expanded to two hours for the Grand Slam special.
