Miss America
Miss America is an annual competition that is open to women from the United States between the ages of 17 and 25. Originating in 1921 as a "bathing beauty revue", the contest is now judged on competitors' talent performances and interviews. As of 2018, there is no longer a swimsuit portion to the contest, or consideration of physical appearance. Caleb Pressley (born November 13, 1992) is an American blogger, podcaster, and interviewer for the sports and pop culture blog Barstool Sports. Maria Beale Fletcher (born June 23, 1942) is an American beauty pageant contestant who was Miss America 1962. Early life and education Fletcher was born to dancing duo Charles "Beale" and Margaret Gatley Fletcher, who were the founders of the Fletcher School of Dance and the Land of the Sky Civic Ballet. Buncombe County Schools (BCS) is the public school system overseeing education in Buncombe County, North Carolina, including parts of Asheville, North Carolina. The Buncombe County Schools system is the largest in Western North Carolina with almost 25,000 students enrolled in 47 schools and programs. Rico Sharod Dowdle Jr. (born June 14, 1998) is an American football running back for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at South Carolina. Early years Dowdle attended A.C. Reynolds High School. As a senior, he was switched from running back to quarterback, leading the team to an 11-2 overall record and 6-0 in the conference. He had 247 carries for 2,545 yards and 51 rushing touchdowns. He also passed for 1,434 yards, 11 touchdowns, 4 interceptions and had a 55-yard touchdown reception.
