ACS Recaș was a Romanian professional football club from Recaș, Timiș County, Romania, founded in 1917 and dissolved in the summer of 2012. History The club was founded in 1917, but it played its entire history in the lower county leagues of Romanian football until the summer of 2009. Until the summer of 2012 it played all of its home matches on the Atletic Stadium in Recaș. At the end of the 2008–09 season it finished 1st in the Timiș County Championship and participated at the play-off for the promotion to the Liga III. It was drawn against Partizan Satu Mare, the champion of the Arad County Championship, whom they beat, 7–0, and promoted for the very first time in history to the Liga III. ACS finished the first half of the championship 1st in the table, surpassing all expectations and having a great chance to promote to the Liga II. FC Politehnica Timișoara
Fotbal Club Politehnica Timișoara (), commonly known as Politehnica Timișoara or simply Poli Timișoara, was a Romanian football club from Timișoara, Timiș County, established in 1921 and dissolved in 2012. During its existence, the team won two Cupa României trophies and was twice runner-up in the Liga I. It amassed 49 seasons in the latter competition. Named after and initially run by the Polytechnic University of Timișoara, the club was founded in 1921 by mathematician Traian Lalescu. After two decades spent in the regional leagues, Politehnica promoted to the top flight in 1948. It claimed its first trophy in the 1957–58 season, when it defeated Progresul București in the national cup final. Internationally, "the White-Violets" made their European debut in the 1978–79 UEFA Cup, when they went past MTK Hungária in the first round. Liga V
Liga V is the fifth level of the Romanian football league system. Current format Liga V has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. In Romania the most frequently used system is one division with matches played home and away. A number of associations prefer 2 or even 3 parallel divisions. The 1995–96 Divizia D was the 54th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a promotion play-off played over two legs. Liga IV Timiș is the county football division of Liga IV for clubs based in Timiș County, România. The competition is ranked as the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system and it is competed between 18 teams, the winner may or may not be promoted to Liga III, depending on the result of a promotion play-off that is disputed against a winner of the neighboring counties series.
