ACF Trani
Associazione Calcio Femminile Trani 80 (1980–88) was a professional women's football team from Trani in southern Italy. It won the Serie A (women's football) ("Scudetto") three times 1984–86 and the Coppa Italia in 1983. Due to sponsorship, it underwent a series of name changes, before withdrawing from the league ahead of the 1988–89 season. It was not affiliated with the U.S. Calcio Trani men's team. Playing as ACF Gusmai Trani the club won promotion from Serie B (Girone D) in their second season. In 1982 ACF Marmi Trani finished third in their first season at the top level. They finished second in the 1983 Serie A after losing a play–off to Alaska Lecce, but won the Coppa Italia by beating Tigullio 72 on penalty shoot out after a 1–1 draw. In 1984 they merged with champions Alaska Lecce to become ACF Alaska Trani, inheriting Lecce's Scottish striker Rose Reilly. Debbie Bampton
Deborah Bampton, Order of the British Empire, MBE, (born 7 October 1961) is an English former international association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. During her career Bampton won a treble at Arsenal W.F.C., Arsenal and two doubles with Charlton Athletic L.F.C., Croydon. She also was capped a sum of 95 times for England, scoring seven goals all in all. Bampton was appointed an MBE in 1998 Birthday Honours, 1998 as a recognition of her services to women's football. Anne O'Brien (footballer)
Anne Monica O'Brien (25 January 1956 – 29 August 2016) was an Irish association football coach and player. A midfielder, she played for the Republic of Ireland women's national football team and was the first Irish female to play professional football outside of Ireland. She began her professional career in France, with Stade de Reims, then settled in Italy where she found success with Serie A teams including Lazio and Trani. After qualifying as a coach at the Coverciano centre, O'Brien worked for the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) and served Lazio as manager. During her 16-year international career, Davis represented the England women's national football team in the inaugural 1984 UEFA Championships final and at England's first FIFA Women's World Cup appearance in 1995.
