ABA League
The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021. The league coexists alongside scaled-down national leagues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. All but one of Adriatic League clubs join their country's own competitions in late spring after the Adriatic League regular season and post-season have been completed. Tadija Dragićević ( sr-cyr, Тадија Драгићевић; born 28 January 1986) is a retired Serbian professional basketball player. Standing at , he played the power forward position. Professional career Dragićević grew up with the KK Crvena zvezda youth teams, and patiently improved himself as a player, until he eventually became a team captain and Adriatic League MVP at the senior level. On 22 January 2010, after five years in the club's first team, he was released from the club, due to financial difficulties that the club had fallen into. Patrick Miller (born May 22, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for Brose Bamberg of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL). He played college basketball for Tennessee State. High school career Miller played basketball at Chicago's Hales Franciscan High School, averaging 22.6 points and 3.8 assists per game in 32 games as a senior, leading his team to a 28–4 record, winning the Regional and Sectional Championships. 2017–18 ABA League First Division
The 2017–18 ABA League First Division was the 17th season of the ABA League with 12 teams from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Macedonia participating in it. It was the inaugural season as the first tier as a part of two level competition. Format changes On May 23, 2017, ABA League Assembly has decided that there will be 12 clubs competing in the league in the 2017–18 season.
