AB6IX (; ''pronounced as A-B-Six'') is a South Korean boy band formed by Brand New Music. The group currently consists of four members: Jeon Woong, Kim Dong-hyun, Park Woo-jin and Lee Dae-hwi. Former leader Lim Young-min's departure from the group was announced on June 8, 2020. The group debuted on May 22, 2019, with their first EP titled '' B:Complete''. Kim Dong-hyun ( ko, 김동현, born September 17, 1998), also known mononymously as Donghyun, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor. He is known for his participation in the reality competition show ''Produce 101 Season 2''. He later debuted as a part of the musical duo, MXM. He is a member of South Korean boy group AB6IX. Early life Kim Dong-hyun was born on September 17, 1998, in Daejeon, South Korea. Lee Dae-hwi (Hangul: 이대휘, born January 29, 2001), better known mononymously as Daehwi, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, producer and television personality. He is a member of South Korean boy group AB6IX, and is known for his participation in the reality competition show ''Produce 101 Season 2'', where he finished in third place overall and became a member of the boy group Wanna One. ''6ixense'' (pronounced "sixth sense") is the debut studio album by South Korean boy band AB6IX. It was released through Brand New Music on October 7, 2019, along with lead single "Blind for Love" and its music video. The album debuted at number two on the Gaon Album Chart and 25 on the Oricon Albums Chart. It is the final release with member Youngmin, before he left the group on June 8, 2020. KCON (music Festival)
KCON is an annual convention held in locations across the world, created by Koreaboo and organized by CJ E&M. It was first held in Southern California in 2012 and has since expanded to ten countries as of 2022. In 2015, KCON expanded to Japan and then quickly announced the first KCON USA on the East Coast. In 2016, KCON expanded into Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and Paris, France. ''Produce 101 Season 2'' () was a 2017 boy group survival reality show on Mnet, and is the second season of the original South Korean version of the franchise. The public (called 'national producers') "produces" a boy group by choosing 11 members among 101 trainees from 54 entertainment companies through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. MXM is a South Korean duo under Brand New Music that consists of members Lim Young-min and Kim Dong-hyun. History Pre-debut Lim Young-min and Kim Dong-hyun met as trainees under Brand New Music.
