The Renault Alpine GTA and the succeeding A610 is a sports coupe automobile produced by the Renault-owned French manufacturer Alpine between late 1984 and 1995. It replaced the slow-selling Alpine A310, with which it shared many features, including the layout and engine. The GTA was replaced by the A610 in 1991. The A610 is an A-road in England, which runs from Nottingham to Ambergate, where it joins the A6. Route Nottingham to Eastwood The road starts in Nottingham at a roundabout which connects ''Maid Marian Way'' and ''Upper Parliament Street'' spur ( A6008). From here road ascends, passing Nottingham Cathedral. At Canning Circus, it meets the A6200 (former A52) for Derby and A608 for Ilkeston. The A610 becomes Alfreton Road as it passes through Hyson Green, where it meets the A6130 ''Radford Boulevard'' and ''Gregory Boulevard'', further on is a KFC and Tesco Express. At Bobbers Mill it becomes ''Nuthall Road'', near a McDonald's and the Bobbers Mill Transport Cafe, then crossing the Nottingham Ring Road ( A6514 or ''Western Boulevard''). Autoroute 610 (A-610), also known as Autoroute Louis Bilodeau, is a short spur autoroute serving the eastern and northern suburbs of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. It bypasses Sherbrooke's city centre to the north and connects the A-55 and A-10 to Route 112, a primary regional link to East Angus, Thetford Mines, and Lac-Mégantic. History The first section of Highway 610 was opened to traffic in 1988 as an extension of the A-10. The eastern part (east of Exit 7, formerly Exit 150), opened in 1992, is a two-lane freeway. Original plans for the A-10 called for it to continue east to Thetford Mines, but this section was never built. On 29 September 2006, Transports Québec announced plans to redesignate the section of A-10 east of the A-55 as Autoroute 610. The MTQ's rationale was that the new route number is more consistent with the Quebec road numbering plan and would be less confusing to motorists travelling through and beyond the region.
