A. K. Antony Ministry Term 1
The Fifth Kerala Legislative Assembly Council of Ministers in A. K. Antony's first ministry, was a Kerala Council of Ministers (Kerala Cabinet), the executive wing of Kerala Government of Kerala, state government, led by Indian National Congress Party leader A. K. Antony from 27 April 1977 to 27 October 1978. Antony became the 6th Chief Minister of Kerala, following the resignation of K. Karunakaran, and his newly appointed ministry had 15 ministers. Baby John
Baby John (25 October 1917 – 27 January 2008) was a senior leader of the Kerala Revolutionary Socialist Party (Baby John). Previously, he was General Secretary of the Revolutionary Socialist Party (India), Revolutionary Socialist Party in India. He was known in the Kerala state political circles as ‘Kerala Kissinger’ for his abilities to manage political crises at times when the state was passing through difficult political phases. Legislative career Baby's legislative career began in the early 1950s, when he was elected to the Travancore-Cochin Assembly. After the formation of Kerala state, he was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly from 1960 to 1996, mostly from his home constituency Chavara. Oommen Chandy
Oommen Chandy, , (born 31 October 1943) is an Indian politician and statesman who served as the Chief Minister of Kerala for two terms, from 2004 to 2006 and again from 2011 to 2016. He was also Leader of the Opposition in the Kerala Legislative Assembly from 2006 to 2011. He represents Puthuppally constituency as MLA in the State Assembly since 1970. He is the longest serving MLA in the Kerala Legislative Assembly and the only Indian Chief Minister to achieve award for public service from United Nations. On 6 June 2018, Congress President Rahul Gandhi appointed him as the General Secretary of the All India Congress Committee in charge of the crucial state of Andhra Pradesh. The chief minister of Kerala is the chief executive of the Indian state of Kerala. In accordance with the Constitution of India, the governor is a state's ''de jure'' head, but ''de facto'' executive authority rests with the chief minister.
