A. J. Ricker
A. J. Ricker (born March 29, 1980) is an American college football coach. He is the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for Texas Christian University, a position he has held since 2021. He was the head football coach at Saint Joseph's College in Collegeville, Indiana, in 2010. College career In his college career he played in 47 career games, and was a two-time team captain. Ricker made the All Big-12 team three times. In 2001 he was a Third Team All-Big-12 selection, in 2002 he was a Second Team All-Big-12 selection, and in 2003 he was a First Team All-Big-12 selection. Professional career After not being selected in the 2004 NFL draft, Ricker signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent. However he would be cut before the regular season started. An offensive coordinator is a member of the coaching staff of an American football or Canadian football team who is in charge of the team's offense. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. The offensive coordinator is in charge of the team's offensive game plan, and typically calls offensive plays during the game, although some offensive-minded head coaches also handle play-calling. Heisman Trophy
The Heisman Memorial Trophy (usually known colloquially as the Heisman Trophy or The Heisman) is awarded annually to the most outstanding player in college football. Winners epitomize great ability combined with diligence, perseverance, and hard work. It is presented by the Heisman Trophy Trust in early December before the postseason bowl games. The award was created by the Downtown Athletic Club in 1935 to recognize "the most valuable college football player east of the Mississippi", and was first awarded to University of Chicago halfback Jay Berwanger. Max Duggan
Maxwell David Hesketh Duggan (born March 12, 2001) is an American football quarterback for the TCU Horned Frogs. He won the Davey O'Brien and Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Awards in 2022 after leading TCU to the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship. Early years Duggan grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa as the youngest child of Debra Dodds and Jim Duggan, who had met while both were athletes at the University of South Dakota in the early 1980s. His two older siblings, Sam and Megan, were both adopted from South Korea. At Lewis Central High School, Duggan played football, baseball, basketball and ran track. On the football field, he was coached by his father and was four-year starter at quarterback. Broyles Award
The Broyles Award is an annual award given to honor the best assistant coach in college football. First awarded in 1996, it was named after former University of Arkansas men's athletic director Frank Broyles. The award is presented in Little Rock, Arkansas at the Downtown Rotary Club. To date 18 of the 23 winners have gone on to become head football coaches. Award Every year, roughly 1,300 assistant coaches representing all 130 FBS programs are eligible for nomination by their peers as well as Selection Committeecomposed of former head coaches. The nominees are narrowed down to just five finalists, all of whom are invited to Little Rock, Arkansas for the annual Broyles Award ceremony. Lou Esposito
Lou Esposito () is an American football coach and former player. He is the defensive coordinator at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. From 2005 to 2009, Esposito was the head football coach at Saint Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana, where he compiled a record of 29–25. In 2016, he served as the first head coach in the history of Davenport University, finishing with a record of 6–5 in his one season at the helm before accepting a position at Western Michigan. Playing career Esposito graduated in 1995 from Manalapan High School in Manalapan Township, New Jersey, where he played football and wrestled. He played college football at the University of Memphis, where he was a four-year letterman from 1997 to 2000.
