A. B. M. Musa
A B M Musa (28 February 19319 April 2014) was a Bangladesh, Bengali journalist. He was the chief editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS). He was awarded Ekushey Padak for journalism in 1999 by the Government of Bangladesh. Education Musa was born in Feni District in on 28 February 1931. He was educated in Chittagong Government Moslem High School, Noakhali Zila School, Comilla Victoria Government College and Choumohoni College. In Choumohoni College he first got into journalism as an editor of the College newspaper ''Koifoyot''. Career Musa started his career as a journalist in 1950 with the then ''Daily Insaf''. He moved to the daily ''Pakistan Observer'' in the same year. He was a founder of Pakistan Journalists Union and elected general secretary of the then East Pakistan Journalists Union. Fulgazi Upazila
Fulgazi ( bn, ফুলগাজী), also spelt Phulgazi, is an upazila of the Feni District, located in Bangladesh's Chittagong Division. It is best known as the home upazila of Khaleda Zia, a former Prime Minister of Bangladesh. History In circa 1553, a merchant from the Middle East known as Murad Khan settled in Chittagong, but due to devastating floods, later migrated to modern-day Sripur in Fulgazi. He left behind four sons; Nahar Muhammad Khan, Tahir Muhammad Khan, Phul Muhammad Khan and Arif Muhammad Khan. Phul Muhammad Khan fought under Shamsher Ghazi against the Twipra Kingdom, and himself gained the title of Ghazi. The area came to be known as Phulgazi, or Fulgazi, after Phul Muhammad Khan. In 1701/1701 (1111 in the Tripuri calendar), Nahar Muhammad Khan built a large reservoir in his palace. Bangladesh Television ( bn, বাংলাদেশ টেলিভিশন), commonly known by its acronym BTV ( bn, বিটিভি), is the state-owned television network of Bangladesh. The network was originally established as the East Pakistan branch of PTV in 1964. It is the oldest Bengali-language television network in the world, and is the sister to the radio broadcaster Bangladesh Betar, which, along with BTV, are both owned and operated by the government.
