A. A. Van Ruler
Arnold Albert van Ruler (10 December 1908 – 15 December 1970) was a Dutch minister and theologian. Van Ruler was born in Apeldoorn. He studied at the University of Groningen and was ordained as a minister in the Dutch Reformed Church. He obtained his PhD from the same institution in 1947 and became professor of theology at the University of Utrecht. For many years, he broadcast Bible meditations via AVRO. Van Ruler was in favour of a theocracy. He was heavily influenced by Philippus Jacobus Hoedemaker. van Ruler also emphasized the goodness of Creationism, creation. Van Ruler had five children, including Betteke van Ruler. Apeldoorn
Apeldoorn (; Dutch Low Saxon: ) is a municipality and city in the province of Gelderland in the centre of the Netherlands. It is located about 60 km east of Utrecht, 60 km west of Enschede, 25 km north of Arnhem and 35 km south of Zwolle. The municipality of Apeldoorn, including villages like Beekbergen, Loenen (Apeldoorn), Loenen, Ugchelen and Hoenderloo, had a population of 165,525 on 1 December 2021. The western half of the municipality lies on the Veluwe ridge, with the eastern half in the IJssel valley. Betteke Van Ruler
Alberta Arnolda "Betteke" van Ruler (born 16 September 1948) is emeritus Professor of Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam. Biography Born in Hilversum, she was the youngest child of the theologian A. A. van Ruler. She is a scholar in academic theory and practice in public relations and communication science. Career Van Ruler began her study of communication science at the age of 37 in Nijmegen. During her study, she held a job at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht as a lecturer in public relations and public information. After completing her study with honors in 1990 she moved on to work at the {School for Journalism in Utrecht as coordinator of a new curriculum for public information. Creationism is the religious belief that nature, and aspects such as the universe, Earth, life, and humans, originated with supernatural acts of divine creation.
