A.S. Pescina Valle del Giovenco, commonly referred to as simply Valle del Giovenco, was an Italian association football club based in Pescina, Abruzzo. Though they were based in Pescina, the team was temporarily playing in Avezzano, a nearby city. History It was founded in 2005. In 2006, Valle del Giovenco gained promotion from Eccellenza after winning the promotion play-offs. The following year, the squad gained a second consecutive promotion by winning Round F of the Serie D promotion play-offs. The club then played in Serie C2 in the 2007–2008 season. Following the promotions, the club started a rebranding process that included the relocation to Avezzano to accommodate their quickly advancing position on the Italian football scene. Stadio dei Marsi is a stadium in the Via Napoli ("Naples Street") neighbourhood of Avezzano, Italy. It was built between the years '30 and '50. In the past it was used for athletics events and there was a tennis court, it is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Avezzano Calcio. The stadium holds 3,692. The 2009–10 Lega Pro Prima Divisione season was the thirty-second football league season of Italian Lega Pro Prima Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the second since the renaming from Serie C to Lega Pro. It was divided into two phases: the regular season, played from 23 August 2009 to May 2010, and the playoff phase from May to June 2010. The league was contested by 36 teams, geographically divided into two divisions of 18 teams each. Teams only played other teams in their own division, once at home and once away for a total of 34 matches each. Teams finishing first in the regular season, plus one team winning the playoff round from each division were promoted to Serie B; teams finishing last in the regular season, plus two relegation playoff losers from each division were relegated to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. Dario Bonetti (; born 5 August 1961) is an Italian football manager and former player. He is the elder brother of Ivano Bonetti. Club career Born in San Zeno Naviglio, Brescia, Italy, Bonetti made his professional debut during the 1978–79 season with Brescia. He then moved to Roma in 1980, and played for the ''giallorossi'' until 1986, except for a one-season spell at Sampdoria during the 1982–83 season; during his time with Roma, he won three Coppa Italia titles.
