A.S.D. Maccarese Calcio was an Italian football club headquartered in Maccarese, a ''frazione'' of Fiumicino, itself part of the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital (formerly Province of Rome). The club was also known as S.S. Maccarese until renamed to A.S. Giada Maccarese in 2002. In 2013, the club, known as A.S.D. Maccarese Calcio at that time, was relocated and renamed as A.S.D. Trastevere Calcio. However, since 2013, several namesake were founded as phoenix clubs of Maccarese, by the former chairman Dante Papili. History Maccarese was founded in 1934 in the present day Maccarese ''frazione'' of Fiumicino ''comune''. The ''comune'' was formed in 1992 from a split from Rome ''comune''. The Promozione (, "promotion") is the sixth level in the Italian football league system. Each individual league winner within the Promozione level progresses to their closest regional league in the Eccellenza level. Depending on each league's local rules, a number of teams each year are relegated from each league, to the 7th level of Italian football, the Prima Categoria. This level of Italian football is completely amateur and is run on a regional level. Monterotondo
Monterotondo is a town and ''comune'' in the Metropolitan City of Rome, central Italy. History According to some historians, Monterotondo is the heir of the ancient Sabine town of Eretum, although the modern settlement appeared in the 10th-11th centuries in a different location. The name derives from the medieval corruption (then ''Mons Teres'', then ''Monte Ritondo'') of the original ''Mons Eretum''. In the Middle Ages, due to its location across the Via Salaria, Monterotondo was a strategic point for the defense of Rome. Fregenae ( el, ; it, Fregene), was a maritime town of ancient Etruria, situated between Alsium and the mouth of the Tiber. The Prima Categoria is a level of football in Italy. It is the seventh level (since 2014–15) in the Italian football league system and is organized by the National Amateur League by the Regional Committees. Each individual league winner within the Prima Categoria level progresses to their closest regional league in the Promozione level. Casalotti is the name of the forty-eighth zone of Rome in the Agro Romano, denoted by Z. XLVIII. It is the namesake of the ''frazione'' of the same name. 2013–14 Serie D
The 2013–14 Serie D was the sixty-sixth edition of the top level Italian non-professional football championship. It represented the fifth tier in the Italian football league system. It consisted of 161 teams, after the exclusion of Nardò and including the retired Ragusa and Bojano. It was divided into eight 18-team divisions and a 17-team division. Promotions The nine division winners are automatically promoted to the new 2014–15 Serie C.
