A.N.T. Farm (soundtrack)
''A.N.T. Farm'' is the soundtrack album for the Disney Channel television series ''A.N.T. Farm''. It was released on October 11, 2011 by Walt Disney Records. Most of the soundtrack features songs performed in the first season of the series by the lead actress China Anne McClain, as well as new songs performed by cast members Carlon Jeffery and Stefanie Scott, and China Anne and her two sisters, known as the McClain Sisters. The soundtrack was successful, spending five weeks on the ''Billboard'' kids chart in 2011. It sold 14,000 copies within the first week of release. China Anne McClain
China Anne McClain (born August 25, 1998) is an American actress and singer. McClain's career began when she was seven years old, portraying Alexis in the film ''The Gospel'' (2005), and then China James in '' Daddy's Little Girls'' (2007). The second season of ''Shake It Up (U.S. TV series), Shake It Up'' aired on Disney Channel from September 18, 2011 to August 17, 2012. It consisted of 28 episodes, giving the series a total of 49 episodes thus far. Caroline Sunshine was added to the main cast this season. Production and release On March 16, 2011, the series was picked up for its second season. A few months later, it was announced that the series would begin with a one-hour special episode and that it would be aired later that fall. Kid Albums (formerly known as Top Kid Audio) is a music chart published weekly by ''Billboard'' magazine which ranks the top selling children's music albums in the United States. The chart debuted on the issue dated September 9, 1995. It originally began as a 15-position chart, but has now been expanded to 25. Rankings are compiled by point-of-purchase sales obtained by Nielsen Soundscan data and from legal digital downloads from an all music digital retailers. The Kid Albums chart features full-length albums that are geared towards children or preteen audiences.
