Anthony Darrell "A. J." Slaughter (born August 3, 1987) is an American-born naturalized Polish professional basketball player for CB Gran Canaria, Gran Canaria of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroCup Basketball, EuroCup. He played college basketball for Western Kentucky Hilltoppers basketball, Western Kentucky. High school Slaughter started every game of his high school career at Shelby County High School (Kentucky), Shelby County, averaging 14.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.7 steals per game. Club Baloncesto Gran Canaria – Claret, S.A.D., is a professional basketball club based in Las Palmas, Spain. The team plays in the Liga ACB. Their home arena is the Gran Canaria Arena. From 2012 until 2021, they have been sponsored by Herbalife. History CB Gran Canaria was founded inside Claret School and for many years played under that denomination. The West Virginia Mountaineers men's basketball team represents West Virginia University in NCAA Division I college basketball competition. They are a member of the Big 12 Conference. 2018–19 Pro A Season
The 2018–19 Pro A season, for sponsorships reasons the Jeep Élite, was the 97th season of the Pro A, the top basketball league in France organised by the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB). It was the second season with Jeep as main sponsor. The season started on 21 September 2018 with the regular season and ended on 25 June 2019 with the last game of the finals.
