A. M. Rajah
Aemala Manmadharaju Rajah, popularly known as A. M. Rajah, was an Indian playback singer and music director. Early life A. M. Rajah was born on 1 July 1929 in Cchamanchipuram, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. His father died when he was three months old and the family moved to Renukapuram then Madras. He graduated Pachaiyappa's College with a Bachelor of Arts. Early career Whilst attending university, Rajah wrote, composed, and sang two songs in Telugu with the instrumental support of the music director K. V. Mahadevan for HMV. These songs were broadcast by All India Radio whereupon they caught the attention of S. S. Vasan. After listening to these songs, Vasan, with the approval of his music directors Emani Sankara Sastry, and Kalki Krishnamurthy, booked Rajah for his upcoming film, '' Samsaram.'' Jikki
Pillavalu Gajapathy Krishnaveni (3 November 1935 – 16 August 2004), more famously known as Jikki, was an Indian playback singer from Andhra Pradesh. She sang around 10,000 songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and Sinhalese languages. Early life Jikki was born in Chennai on 3 November 1935. Her parents Gajapathi Naidu and Rajakanthamma, a Telugu family, had moved from Chandragiri, near Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh to Chennai for their livelihood. Her uncle, Devaraju Naidu, worked as a music composer with the celebrated Kannada theatre legend and movie pioneer Gubbi Veeranna and this introduced the young Jikki to the music and film world. ''Thennilavu'' (; ) is a 1961 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film written, produced and directed by C. V. Sridhar. The film stars Gemini Ganesan and Vyjayanthimala, with K. A. Thangavelu, M. N. Nambiar, M. Saroja and Vasanthi in supporting roles. The film's plot is about a man who, due to mistaken identity, is appointed as a manager by a young woman for her father's honeymoon in Kashmir. ''Vidivelli'' () is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by C. V. Sridhar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, B. Saroja Devi and M. N. Sobha is a 1958 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Kamalakara Kameswara Rao. It stars N. T. Rama Rao and Anjali Devi. The film was produced by Ponnaluri Brothers under the Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures banner. Music was composed by A. M. Rajah in his debut. Shankar–Ganesh is an Indian music director duo who has worked on Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada movies for around 50 years. Career They started as assistants to Tamil music composers M. S. Viswanathan and T. K. Ramamoorthy in 1964 and later the duo assisted M.S.Viswanathan alone from 1965 till 1967. Kannadhasan started his own film Titled "Nagarathil Thirudargal" in which he introduced Shankar Ganesh as music directors. ''Aah'' is a 1953 black and white Bollywood romantic drama film starring Raj Kapoor and Nargis in lead roles. The film was produced by Raj Kapoor and directed by Raja Nawathe. This was Nawathe's first independent directorial venture. He had previously worked as assistant director to Kapoor in '' Aag'' (1948), '' Barsaat'' (1949) and ''Awaara'' (1951).
