Associazione Calcio Porto Torres (commonly referred as A.C. Porto Torres, Porto Torres or Porto Torres calcio) is an Italian association football club located in Porto Torres, Sardinia. The club currently plays regional football in the second division of Sardinia's Promozione, the 6th tier of Italian football. His home ground is the town's municipal stadium located in the "Cittadella dello sport" area (the same area is also known as "Stadio comunale", "Campo sportivo comunale" or "Nuovo stadio"). The A.C. Porto Torres
Porto Torres ( sdc, Posthudorra, sc, Portu Turre) is a comune and a city of the Province of Sassari in north-west of Sardinia, Italy. Founded during the 1st century BC as ''Colonia Iulia Turris Libisonis'', it was the first Roman colony of the entire island. It is situated on the coast at about east of ''Capo del Falcone'' and in the center of the Gulf of Asinara. The port of Porto Torres is the second biggest seaport of the island, followed by the port of Olbia. The town is very close to the main city of Sassari, where the local university takes office. The Promozione (, "promotion") is the sixth level in the Italian football league system. Each individual league winner within the Promozione level progresses to their closest regional league in the Eccellenza level. Depending on each league's local rules, a number of teams each year are relegated from each league, to the 7th level of Italian football, the Prima Categoria. This level of Italian football is completely amateur and is run on a regional level. Michele Fini (born 14 June 1974 in Sorso, Province of Sassari) is an Italian football coach and former midfielder. Playing career Fini started his career at Sardinian clubs. In summer 1995 he was signed by Ancona. In January 1998 he was signed by Salernitana of Serie B. Fini's debut in Serie A and last match for Salernitana was on 26 September 1998 in a match against Udinese the score was 2–0 He was transferred to Cagliari from Ascoli Calcio 1898 in 2007, signed a two-year deal.
