A-magasinet
''A-magasinet'' is a supplement to the Norwegian newspaper ''Aftenposten'' that is published every Friday. The supplement is published in a format of , and it is therefore smaller than the daily newspaper, which is published in tabloid format. The supplement is printed at the press Hjemmet Mortensen Trykkeri and its number of pages has ranged from 68 to 84. Until 2001, the supplement was printed by the press Aktietrykkeriet in Fetsund. History ''A-magasinet'' was issued during three periods: from 1926 to 1943, from 1963 to 1993, and from 2005 onward. The first issue was published on New Year's eve in 1926 at the initiative of editor Frøis Frøisland. The name of the publication was selected in a contest among the readers of ''Aftenposten''. Other suggestions for naming the publication included ''Lørdagshygga'' ('Saturday cosiness'), ''Ding Dong'', ''Sofadyret'' ('couch creature'), and ''Tilhænger'n'' ('trailer', after Harald Madsen of the popular comic pair Ole & Axel, dubbed ... Per Egil Hegge
Per Egil Hegge (born 6 March 1940) is a Norwegian journalist. Hegge was born in Trondheim as a son of two teachers from Skatval. The family moved to Inderøy in 1941. He served his military service at the elite Russian language program of the Norwegian Armed Forces. He started his career in the Norwegian News Agency, and was hired in ''Aftenposten'' in 1962 and remained there for the rest of his career. He was the newspaper's London correspondent from 1963 to 1965, and then worked in Norway (winning the Narvesen Prize in 1968) before becoming Moscow correspondent from 1969 to 1971. He was then expelled from the country, one of the reasons for this being that he was the first journalist to interview Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn after he won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1970. After another six years in Norway from 1971 to 1977 Hegge was the Washington DC correspondent from 1977 to 1981. Sven Sønsteby (20 May 1933 – 5 May 2014) was a Norwegian illustrator. He was born in Oslo. He was assigned as illustrator for the newspaper ''Aftenposten'' from the 1950s, and for the newspaper's weekly supplement ''A-magasinet'' from 1963. ( in the masthead; ; Norwegian for "The Evening Post") is Norway's largest printed newspaper by circulation. It is based in Oslo. It sold 211,769 copies in 2015 (172,029 printed copies according to University of Bergen) and estimated 1.2 million readers. It converted from broadsheet to compact format in March 2005. ''Aftenposten''s online edition is at Aftenposten.no. It is considered a newspaper of record for Norway. ''Aftenposten'' is a private company wholly owned by the public company Schibsted ASA. Frøis Frøisland
Nils Frøis Frøisland (4 February 1883 – 29 January 1930) was a Norwegian newspaper correspondent and editor. He was born in Raufoss as a son of farmer and forest owner Nils Frøisland (1851–1932) and his wife Berthe Enger (1858–1924). He finished his secondary education in Hamar in 1900, and then attended the Norwegian Military Academy for one year. He then enrolled at the Royal Frederick University and graduated with the cand.jur. degree in 1907. He contributed to the newspaper ''Fri Presse'' until it went defunct in 1908. He was hired by Amandus Schibsted as a journalist in ''Aftenposten''. He studied in France for some time, returning in 1911, but he was sent back as a correspondent in December 1913. He was especially active during the First World War, becoming a prolific war correspondent. Kjersti Løken Stavrum
Kjersti Løken Stavrum (born 1 March 1969) is a Norwegian journalist and editor. Since April 2013, she has been Secretary General of the Norwegian Press Association. Born in Sarpsborg in south-eastern Norway, Stavrum is a graduate in political science. She began her career with the Norwegian newspaper ''Aftenposten'' in 1994. In 2001, she became editor in chief for the weekly women's magazine ''Kvinner og Klær''. She returned to ''Aftenposten'' in 2005 as feature editor for the paper's revamped weekly magazine ''A-magasinet'', where she remained until 2012. Thereafter, for a short period she was head of the communications department of the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprise (NHO). A newspaper is a periodical publication containing written information about current events and is often typed in black ink with a white or gray background. ''Kvinner og Klær'' (''KK'', ), is a Norwegian weekly women's magazine published in Oslo, Norway. It is the oldest and largest magazine for women in the country. History and profile ''Kvinner og Klær'' was launched under the title of ''Nordisk Mønster-Tidende'' as a magazine concerning needlework patterns in 1874. TV 2 (Norway)
TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Norwegian terrestrial television channel. Its headquarters are located in Bergen. TV 2 began test broadcasting on 13 November 1991, and a year later, it was officially launched on 5 September 1992, becoming Norway's first commercial free-to-air television channel. Advertising supplements periodically accompany corresponding newspapers and are prepared by the paper's advertising staff instead of its editorial staff. It is common for them to cover topics such as real estate and automobiles on behalf of the paper's frequent advertisers. Some supplements are spin-offs from a newspaper.
