''A-Lex'' is the eleventh studio album by the Brazilian metal band Sepultura. It was released on January 23, 2009 by independent German record label SPV. This is the first album featuring drummer Jean Dolabella, since the departure of Igor Cavalera in 2006. This is the second concept album released by Sepultura, following 2006's ''Dante XXI'' which was based on Dante Alighieri's ''The Divine Comedy''. ''A-Lex'' is based on the 1962 novel ''A Clockwork Orange'' by Anthony Burgess, which was adapted into a film version by Stanley Kubrick in 1971. Album information The album was recorded in São Paulo at Trama Studios and mixed at Mega Studios during 2008, since February through the process of composition until August when the band finished the mixing process and revealed the track listing and album title. ''Kairos'' is the twelfth studio album by the Brazilian metal band Sepultura. It was released on June 24, 2011 by independent German record label Nuclear Blast Records. This is the band's first release on the label, marking their first album not released on SPV/Steamhammer since 2001's ''Nation''. Background and recording On July 6, 2010, it was announced that Sepultura were signed with Nuclear Blast Records, and would release their first album for the label in 2011. By the end of 2010, the band had begun writing new material and entered the studio to begin recording their twelfth album with producer Roy Z (Judas Priest, Halford, Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson, Helloween). ''Dante XXI'' is the tenth studio album by the Brazilian metal band Sepultura, released in 2006 through SPV Records. It is a concept album based on the three sections of Dante Alighieri's ''The Divine Comedy''; ''Inferno'' (hell), ''Purgatorio'' (purgatory) and '' Paradiso'' (paradise). This is the last album to feature Igor Cavalera on drums. Album information ''Dante XXI'' was originally titled "Dante 05", but was changed when it became clear that the album would not be released by the end of 2005. The first single from the album was "Convicted in Life". A video for the song was released in 2006, and it won the MTV ''VMB'' Best Editing in a Video Award that year. The Best Of Sepultura
''The Best of Sepultura'' is a compilation album from Roadrunner Records, featuring a best of collection of Sepultura's music with the label. Although the track-listing from "Inner Self" onwards is essentially a collection of all of the band's singles, in its representation of the album '' Arise'' the compilation substitutes the single "Under Siege (Regnum Irae)" for the album track "Desperate Cry". The record was released without Sepultura's involvement (they were signed to SPV Records at the time) and is not officially recognized by Sepultura themselves. The Roadrunner studio albums ''Morbid Visions'', '' Against'', ''Nation'', the debut EP ''Bestial Devastation'', and the rarities and live albums ''Blood-Rooted'', ''The Roots of Sepultura'' and ''Under a Pale Grey Sky'' are not represented on the record (although a version of "Troops of Doom" did originally appear on ''Morbid Visions'' and as an outtake from ''Arise''). Jean Dolabella
Jean Turrer Dolabella (born 14 May 1978) is a Brazilian drummer, multi-instrumentalist member of Ego Kill Talent. He is also a music producer and one of the founders of Family Mob Studios, where he teaches, promotes workshops and drum camps. In 2004, he graduated at Los Angeles College of Music, and from 2006 to 2011, Jean Dolabella played the drums in thrash metal band Sepultura. He has played and recorded with several Brazilian artists such as Lenine, Milton Nascimento, Ana Carolina, and also with international artists such as Paul Di'Anno and Mike Patton. He has worked with producers Matt Wallace, Thom Russo and Steve Evetts. Biography Jean Dolabella's first "notorious" musical work was the first release from his old band Diesel, which, for legal reasons, later changed its name to Udora. Andreas Rudolf Kisser (; born 24 August 1968) is a Brazilian musician, best known for being the lead guitarist for the metal band Sepultura. He has been featured on every Sepultura release since their second album, ''Schizophrenia''. Additionally, Kisser has also been involved in other bands such as the rock supergroup Hail!, Sexoturica and, more recently, De La Tierra. Biography Kisser was born in São Bernardo do Campo, a municipality in São Paulo to a Slovene mother, from Maribor, Slovenia, and a German father. His father was a mechanical engineer and his mother was a teacher and amateur artist. At an early age, Kisser showed an interest in music.
