9th Lux Style Awards
The 9th Lux Style Awards ceremony was held in 2010 at the Expo Centre, Lahore, Pakistan. It honored the best film, television, music, and fashion achievements in the Pakistani entertainment industry. After the previous year's ceremony was cancelled in favour of a photo op with the award winners due to the prevailing security outlook in the country, the ceremony returned for the 9th edition of the awards. Lahore International Expo Centre
Expo Centre Lahore ( ur, ) is a convention center located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Designed by joint venture of National Engineering Services Pakistan (NESPAK) and Nayyar Ali Dada & Associates, the convention center is located in Johar Town at the corner of ''Abdul Haque Road'' and ''Shahrah Nazaria-e-Pakistan''. Construction began in 2007 and was completed in 2010. History A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Government of Punjab, Pakistan and the federal government on 30 March 2002 for this purpose. The centre was established jointly by the provincial and federal governments of Pakistan at a 400-kanal land plot provided by the Lahore Development Authority on a 40-years lease in 2004. The intent was to provide local exporters a central location for displaying their products and providing product information to foreign trade delegations and buyers under one roof.

Nauman Ijaz (Punjabi and ur, ) is a Pakistani television and film actor, TV anchorperson, and TV show presenter. Geo Television Network is a television channel based in Pakistan. It was established in May 2002 and is owned by the Jang Media Group. The channel began its test transmission on 14 August 2002, with regular transmission beginning on 1 October 2002. History Geo Network was founded in May 2002 by Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman. It started out with the launch of its flagship channel Geo News in October 2002. Hamid Mir joined the channel and became one of the first journalists to join Geo News. He started hosting the political talk show Capital Talk which is the flagship show of Geo News. Doraha (drama)
''Doraha'' ( ur, ) (English: Crossroad) is a Pakistani drama television series which premiered on Geo Entertainment on 17 October 2008. It is an adaptation of an Urdu novel ''Mein Ne Khawabon Ka Shajar Dekha Hai'', written by Umera Ahmad. The serial is produced by Humayun Saeed and Abdullah Kadwani's production house 7th Sky Entertainment and directed by Mehreen Jabbar. The official soundtrack is called ''Tum Kahan Chal Diye'', composed and performed by Jal the band. It was one of the tracks in Jal's album Boondh, released in 2007 and was well received by the listeners. In an audio interview given to Raju Jamil, Humayun Saeed revealed that given the success of Doraha 7th Sky Entertainment is planning to produce a second season of the serial with the same cast. Hum TV is a 24-hour Urdu General Entertainment TV channel based in Karachi, Pakistan. It was founded by Sultana Siddiqui and Duraid Qureshi.
