9th APAN Star Awards
The 2023 APAN Star Awards () ceremony took place on December 30, 2023, at Dongdaemun Design Plaza Arthall 2 Jung-gu, Seoul, and was hosted by Kim Seung-woo and Jang Ye-won. It was broadcast exclusively on tvN and Naver Now. The awards ceremony integrates content from all channels, including domestic terrestrial broadcasting, general programming, cable, OTT, and web dramas, aired from October 2022 to November 2023. In the award ceremony Lee Jun-ho won 5 awards including the Grand Award for his role in ''King the Land''. Winners and nominees Nominations were announced on December 19. Dongdaemun Design Plaza
The Dongdaemun Design Plaza, abbreviated as DDP, is a major urban development landmark in Seoul, South Korea, designed by Zaha Hadid and Samoo, with a distinctively neofuturistic design characterized by the "powerful, curving forms of elongated structures." The landmark is the centerpiece of South Korea's fashion hub and popular tourist destination, Dongdaemun, featuring a walkable park on its roofs, large global exhibition spaces, futuristic retail stores, and restored parts of the Seoul fortress. The DDP has been one of the main reasons for Seoul's designation as the World Design Capital in 2010. Construction started in 2009, and it was officially inaugurated on March 21, 2014. Kang Full
Kang Full (or Kang Pool, ) is the pen name of Kang Do-young (born December 7, 1974), a South Korean webtoon artist. Though he had no formal training in art or writing, Kang launched a website in 2002 to display his comics. Kang's webtoons quickly drew attention, resulting in several film adaption based on his works. Career Regarded as a "first generation" webtoon artist, Kang had no formal teaching in either writing or drawing comics. His interest stemmed from painting wall posters for the student body at Sangji University, turning them into eye-catching comics in order to attract attention.
