Scientific Opinion On Climate Change
There is a strong scientific consensus that the Earth is warming and that this warming is mainly caused by human activities. This consensus is supported by various studies of scientists' opinions and by position statements of scientific organizations, many of which explicitly agree with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) synthesis reports. Nearly all actively publishing climate scientists say humans are causing climate change. Surveys of the scientific literature are another way to measure scientific consensus. A 2019 review of scientific papers found the consensus on the cause of climate change to be at 100%, and a 2021 study concluded that over 99% of scientific papers agree on the human cause of climate change. The small percentage of papers that disagreed with the consensus either cannot be replicated or contain errors. Consensus points The current scientific consensus is that: * Earth's climate has warmed significantly since the late 1800s. * Human ... '97 (song)
''Alkaline Trio'' is a compilation album by American rock band of the same name, released April 18, 2000 through Asian Man Records. It includes all of the tracks from their EPs ''For Your Lungs Only'' (1998) and '' I Lied My Face Off'' (1999), as well as both tracks from the "Sundials" single (1997) and several tracks from other compilations. Reception By August 2008, the album sold 85,000 copies. Ari Wiznitzer of Allmusic praised the compilation, comparing the songs' lyrics to those of Blake Schwarzenbach and saying that "What separates this record from most compilations of its kind is both consistency and excellent sequencing. This is the band's best batch of songs since ''Goddamnit'', and although taken from disparate sources, the record has the feel of a long-player." Track listing Personnel * Matt Skiba – guitar, lead vocals * Dan Andriano – bass, backing vocals (tracks 1–10) * Rob Doran – bass (tracks 11–13) * Glenn Porter – drums References Exte ... Saab 97
The Saab Sonett is an automobile manufactured between 1955 and 1957 and again between 1966 and 1974 by Saab of Sweden. Sonetts share engines and other components with Saab 93, 95 and 96 of the same era. It was mainly intended for the lucrative American export market and was only offered intermittently in the Swedish domestic market (model years 1968 and 1972). The first prototype, now known as the Sonett I, is a two-seat, open-top, lightweight roadster racer which, ten years later, evolved into the commercially distributed Sonett models II, V4, and III. Sonett I In the 1950s, Rolf Mellde—a Saab engine developer and race enthusiast—along with Lars Olov Olsson, Olle Lindkvist, and Gotta Svensson, designed a two-seat roadster prototype in a barn in Åsaka, near Trollhättan (the site of the main Saab manufacturing facility). The limited research-and-development project, with a total budget of only , became known as the ''Sonett'', a name derived from the Swedish phrase ... British Rail Class 97
British Rail reserved the TOPS Class 97 designation for departmental locomotives, which were used for special or engineering duties. They were therefore of several different classes, lumped together for numbering purposes. Some locomotives were converted from redundant engines, whilst others were purpose built. In 2008, Network Rail once again used Class 97 for signalling test locomotives (Class 97/3). Allocation of numbers Class 97 numbers were allocated in one of three ways: * Application of 97 prefix to pre-TOPS number - e.g. Western Region shunters PWM 650–654 became 97650–97654. * TOPS class number replaced by 97 prefix - e.g. Former Class 47 locomotive 47472 became 97472. * Allocation of number in a series commencing from 97x01, where x represented the engine power Type (1 to 5), '7' for ex-multiple unit conversions and '8' for diesel shunters. Locomotive descriptions 97020 Built by Ruston & Hornsby in January 1957 with the serial number 408493, this 4wDM shunter was ...
