''7 vies'' is the eighth studio album by Australian singer and songwriter Tina Arena, released on 28 January 2008 on Columbia Records in France. The title translates into English as "7 Lives" and the first single from the album " Entends-tu le monde?" was released digitally on 15 November 2007 and physically on 11 February 2008. This Arena's second French language album. I Muvrini
I Muvrini is a Corsican folk music group, who sing traditional Corsican music in their native Corsican language. History The group was formed in the early 1980s by the brothers Jean-François Bernardini and Alain Bernardini both born in the village of Tagliu-Isulacciu in the north of Corsica. They are named after a species of wild sheep (mouflon) which live in the mountains of Corsica. The Bernardini brothers were introduced to traditional Corsican music at an early age by their father, Ghjuliu, who was a well-known poet and singer. They recorded their first single with their father in collaboration with the group ''Canta u Populu Corsu''. Ghjuliu Bernardini died in December 1977 and ''I Muvrini''s first album, ''I Muvrini ... ti ringrazianu'', which was released in 1979, was dedicated to their father's memory. Patrick Fiori (; born Patrick Jean-François Chouchayan, 23 September 1969) is a French singer of Armenian descent. Biography Beginnings Fiori was born to a French-Armenian father (Jacques Chouchayan) and a Corsican mother (Marie Antoinette Fiori) in Marseille, France. Thione Seck
Thione Ballago Seck (March 12, 1955 – March 14, 2021) was a Senegalese singer and songwriter in the mbalakh genre. Seck came from a family of griot singers from the Wolof people of Senegal. He first performed with Orchestre Baobab, but he later formed his own band, Raam Daan, of which he was a member until his death in 2021. Early life Seck was born in Dakar on March 12, 1955. He was of Wolof descent and was raised Muslim. He first joined Orchestra Baobab in the 1970s. After a decade of performing with the group, he established Raam Daan. Career Seck's album ''Orientation'' was one of four nominated for BBC Radio 3's World Music Album of the Year in 2006.
