75th Grey Cup
The 75th Grey Cup was the 1987 Canadian Football League championship game that was played at BC Place Stadium in Vancouver, between the Edmonton Eskimos and the Toronto Argonauts. The Eskimos defeated the Argonauts 38–36, on Jerry Kauric's last second field-goal. BC Place Stadium
BC Place is a multi-purpose stadium in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Neil Lumsden
Neil James Lumsden (born December 19, 1952) is a Canadian politician and retired professional football player. Lumsden was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in the 2022 provincial election, and was subsequently appointed as the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport in June 2022. Danny Barrett (American Football)
Danny Barrett (born December 18, 1961) is an American football coach and former player who is the running backs coach for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). He served as the interim head coach for the UCF Knights in 2015, and is a former Canadian Football League (CFL) quarterback. He has been the head coach of the CFL's Saskatchewan Roughriders and the running backs coach of the Miami Dolphins. Lawrence Gill Fenerty, aka "Gill the Thrill", (born August 24, 1963) is a former running back in the Canadian Football League, National Football League, and the Italian Football League. Fenerty graduated from Jesuit High School (New Orleans) and attended the College of the Holy Cross, where in 1983 he had an amazing game, rushing for 337 yards (on 18 carries) and 6 touchdowns versus Columbia University in a 77 to 28 victory. Brian Kelly (born March 27, 1956) is a former Canadian Football League wide receiver for the Edmonton Eskimos who, in nine years from 1979–1987 caught 575 passes for 11,169 yards and 97 touchdowns. Marco Cyncar
Marco Cyncar (born April 13, 1958) is a former Canadian Football League receiver who played eleven seasons for the Edmonton Eskimos. He was a member of four Grey Cup Championship teams in Edmonton. Cyncar played for the Edmonton Wildcats of the Canadian Junior Football League and also university football with the Alberta Golden Bears from 1976 to 1978. He was selected by the Eskimos in the 1979 CFL Draft as a territorial exemption and won his first Grey Cup as a member of that year's squad. Gizmo Williams
Henry Lee "Gizmo" Williams (born May 31, 1962) is a former American and Canadian football kick returner and wide receiver. After his retirement at the end of the 2000 CFL season, Williams worked as a motivational speaker. Born into an impoverished family, Williams was raised by his brother Edgar after the death of both his parents as a child, and, after Edgar's death, by an aunt. Despite his background, Williams was able to be a successful high school football player, and was able to enroll at East Carolina University. After graduating from East Carolina, Williams was signed by the Memphis Showboats of the United States Football League. While playing in Memphis, future Professional Football Hall of Famer Reggie White gave the shifty Williams the nickname "Gizmo", which would stick with him through his professional career. Jerry Kauric (born June 28, 1963 in Windsor, Ontario) is a former placekicker who played in the National Football League and Canadian Football League in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Kauric played his early days in the Canadian Junior Football League for the Windsor AKO Fratmen.
