75th Anniversary Selatin Tunnel ( tr, 75. Yıl Selatin Tüneli), is a road tunnel constructed on the motorway / at the province border of Izmir and Aydın, western Turkey. It is situated northwest of Aydın and southeast of Izmir, between the junctions Belevi and Germencik. With its length of , it was the country's longest tunnel when opened on 20 April 2000. Starting on 1 April 1990, its construction was carried out by the joint venture Kutlutaş and Dillingham in New Austrian Tunnelling method (NATM). The cost of the tunnel totalled to US$121 million. The tunnel was initially named after its location in Selatin village of Germencik district. Following its completion, it was renamed in memory of the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the Turkish Republic (1923). The New Austrian tunneling method (NATM), also known as the sequential excavation method (SEM) or sprayed concrete lining method (SCL), is a method of modern tunnel design and construction employing sophisticated monitoring to optimize various wall reinforcement techniques based on the type of rock encountered as tunneling progresses. This technique first gained attention in the 1960s based on the work of Ladislaus von Rabcewicz, Leopold Müller, and Franz Pacher between 1957 and 1965 in Austria. Selçuk is a town in İzmir Province in the Aegean Region of Turkey.
