64th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen
The 64th NHK Red & White Year-End Song Festival (第64回NHK紅白歌合戦) was aired on December 31, 2013. This edition's theme was "歌がここにある" ("Uta ga Koko ni Aru", "The Song Is Here") and the captains were Arashi (Shirogumi) and Haruka Ayase (Akagumi). This was the 25th edition on Heisei Era. The most notable highlights from this edition were the ''Amachan'' special segment, Yuko Oshima's surprise graduation announcement during AKB48 performance, and final performance from Saburo Kitajima who announced an honorable retirement from Kouhaku after 50 performances. For the second time (since 2012), the won this event, this time using a ball system. The final score was 4-9 (Shirogumi wins). Sexy Zone is a five-member Japanese boy band managed by Johnny & Associates, consisting of Shori Sato, Kento Nakajima, Marius Yo, Fuma Kikuchi and Sou Matsushima. When they debuted their group age average was 14.6. In 2013 they appeared in Kouhaku for the first time performing their hit song. is the ninth single of Hideaki Tokunaga, which was released on January 16, 1990. The song was the ending song of the first 26 episodes of the anime television '' Dragon Quest: Legend of the Hero Abel''. The song peaked No. 3 on Oricon's weekly singles chart, and ranked first in the annual chart of the radio show "Ten Best National Songs". is the eighth single by Japanese girl group NMB48. It was released on October 2, 2013, and reached the number one on the weekly Oricon Singles Chart. Background Kamonegikkusu means "Kamo ga negi wo shotte kuru" (lit. a duck comes carrying a Welsh onion on its back) is a Japanese proverb that means a stroke of luck occurs, and things become more and more convenient. NMB48 (read "N.M.B. Forty-eight") is a Japanese idol group that debuted in 2011 as the second sister group to AKB48, produced by Yasushi Akimoto.
