Cape Breton North
Northside-Westmount is a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada, that elects one member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. In 1933, the County of Cape Breton was divided into five electoral districts, one of which was Cape Breton North, which was carved out of parts of Cape Breton Centre and Cape Breton East. In 2003, the district gained upper North Sydney as far as Balls Creek and Point Aconi. Colchester South
Colchester—Musquodoboit Valley is a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada, that elects one member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. The district was created in 1978 from Colchester, and was called Colchester South until 1993. In 1993, the name was changed to Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley and it gained the Salmon River and Musquodoboit Valley areas from Bedford-Musquodoboit Valley, and Millbrook 27 from Truro-Bible Hill. William L. Campbell (July 1919 – April 9, 2003) was a Canadian politician. He represented the electoral district of Colchester North in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1978 to 1981. He was a member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Nova Scotia. Born in 1919 at Norfolk County, Ontario, Campbell served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1939 to 1968. He entered Nova Scotia provincial politics in the 1978 election, defeating the Liberal incumbent from Colchester, Floyd Tucker in the new Colchester North riding. Colchester North is a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada, that elects one member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. It was created in 1978 when the former district of Colchester was redistributed. Clare (electoral District)
Clare is a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada which existed between 1949-2013 and since 2021. Prior to 1949, Clare was part of Digby district. It elects one member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly. The electoral district includes most of the Municipality of the District of Clare, an Acadian area occupying the southwestern half of Digby County. For four consecutive elections from 1988 to 1999, the district had the highest voter turnout in the province. The electoral district was abolished following the 2012 electoral boundary review and was largely replaced by the new electoral district of Clare-Digby. Ossie Fraser
Osborne 'Ossie' McKenzie Fraser, (November 7, 1923 – October 29, 1982) was a politician in Nova Scotia, Canada. Born in Edwardsville, he was the son of Ernest Osborne and Mary Catherine Fraser. Fraser worked as a steel worker with Sydney Steel Corporation (SYSCO) for 35 years. He was elected to the Cape Breton County Council in 1964 before moving into provincial politics. He was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly in a 1976 byelection in the Cape Breton West riding. David Nelson Muise (September 22, 1949 – November 2, 2017) was a Canadian politician. He was mayor of the Cape Breton Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia from 1997 to 2000. Cape Breton East (formerly Sydney River-Mira-Louisbourg) is a provincial electoral district in Nova Scotia, Canada, that elects one member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly.
