5th Dog Let Loose
''5th Dog Let Loose'' is the second solo studio album by American rapper Flesh-n-Bone. It was released on October 10, 2000, via Koch Records. Recording sessions took place at Studio 56, at LAfx, and at The Enterprise in Hollywood. Production was handled by Damon Elliott, The Professor, Rhythm D, Erik Nordquist, and Flesh-n-Bone himself. It features guest appearances from Layzie Bone, Ms. Chaz, B.G. Knocc Out, Damon Elliott, Kurupt, Montell Jordan and Wish Bone. The album peaked at number 98 on the ''Billboard'' 200, number 30 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and number 3 on the Independent Albums in the United States. Word of the album originally surfaced in 1998 with a different title "Book of T.H.U.G.S.", but due to Flesh-N-Bone's incarceration the album wasn't released until two years later with a new name and a new label. Ricardo Emmanuel Brown (born November 23, 1972), better known by his stage name Kurupt, is an American rapper and record producer who aided gangsta rap's rise via 1990s verses helping set lasting trends. Tony Banks (musician)
Anthony George Banks (born 27 March 1950) is an English musician, songwriter and film composer primarily known as the keyboardist and founding member of the rock band Genesis. Banks is also a prolific solo artist, releasing six solo albums that range through progressive rock, pop, and classical music. Banks co-founded Genesis in 1967 while studying at Charterhouse. He was their keyboardist and one of their principal songwriters and lyricists. He became a frequent user of the Hammond T-102 organ, Mellotron, ARP Pro Soloist and Yamaha CP-70 piano. In the band's earliest years Banks would play acoustic guitar for some of the mellow and pastoral songs. In 2010, Banks was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Genesis. Michael John Cloete Crawford Rutherford (born 2 October 1950) is an English guitarist, bassist and songwriter, co-founder of the rock band Genesis. Rutherford and keyboardist Tony Banks are the group's two continuous members. Initially serving as Genesis's bass guitarist and backing vocalist, Rutherford also performed most of the band's rhythm guitar parts—frequently on twelve-string guitar—in collaboration with successive Genesis lead guitarists Anthony Phillips and Steve Hackett. "Mama" is a song by the English rock band Genesis, released as the first single in 1983 from their self-titled album. It is recognisable for its harsh drum machine introduction composed by Mike Rutherford, which leads into minimalist synthesizer lines in a minor tonality and finally Phil Collins' reverb-laden voice.
