Odeon Leicester Square
The Odeon Luxe Leicester Square is a prominent cinema building in the West End of London. Built in the Art Deco style and completed in 1937, the building has been continually altered in response to developments in cinema technology, and was the first Dolby Cinema in the United Kingdom. The cinema occupies the centre of the eastern side of Leicester Square in London, featuring a black polished granite facade and high tower displaying its name. Blue neon outlines the exterior of the building at night. It was built to be the flagship of Oscar Deutsch's Odeon Cinema chain and still holds that position today. It hosts numerous European and world film premieres, including the annual Royal Film Performance. Alberto Grimaldi (28 March 1925 – 23 January 2021) was an Italian film producer. Biography Grimaldi was born in Naples and studied law. In 1962 he founded his own production company, P.E.A., and released his first feature film, '' The Shadow of Zorro'' the following year and his first Spaghetti Western ''I due violenti'' (1964). His producing credits include '' For a Few Dollars More'' in 1965, ''The Good, the Bad and the Ugly'' in 1966 both with Sergio Leone who initially sought his legal experience advice, ''Last Tango in Paris'' in 1972, and ''Gangs of New York'' in 2002. Martin Richards (born Morton Richard Klein; March 11, 1932 – November 26, 2012) was an Academy-Award winning American film producer. Biography Richards was born to Sidney "Sid" Klein, a stockbroker, and his wife, Shirley, and was raised just off the Grand Concourse in the Bronx. He had a younger brother named Bruce, and his parents also owned an arcade on the Keansburg Amusement Park in the 1940s.
