51st Filmfare Awards
The 51st Filmfare Awards took place on 25 February 2006 at the Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai. The show was hosted by Javed Jaffrey. '' Parineeta'' led the ceremony with 13 nominations, followed by ''Black'' with 11 nominations. ''Black'' received 11 awards at the ceremony – a record at the time – including Best Film, Best Film (Critics), Best Director ( Sanjay Leela Bhansali), Best Actor, Best Actor (Critics) (both for Amitabh Bachchan), Best Actress, Best Actress (Critics) (both for Rani Mukherji) and Best Supporting Actress (Ayesha Kapur, thus becoming the youngest nominee and eventual winner of an acting Filmfare Award). Javed Jaffrey
Syed Jaaved Ahmed Jaaferi (born 4 December 1963) is an Indian actor, dancer, and comedian who has appeared in Hindi films and television shows. He is son of the comedian Jagdeep. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in March, 2014 and contested the 2014 Indian general election from the Lucknow constituency, finishing fifth. Professional work Javed Jaffrey is the son of comedian Jagdeep. He dubbed Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Don Karnage in Hindi for Disney and scripted the Hindi version of Disney's Jungle Book 2 and Pixar The Incredibles as well as voicing the antagonist. He played Charlie Anna in the animated film Roadside Romeo, a collaborative effort of Yash Raj Films and Disney. The Filmfare Awards are annual awards that honour artistic and technical excellence in the Hindi-language film industry of India.Al The Filmfare ceremony is one of the most famous film events in India. Nagesh Kukunoor (born 30 March 1967) is an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter and actor known for his works predominantly in Hindi cinema, and few Telugu language films.
