"4 Walls" is a song recorded by South Korean girl group f(x) for their fourth studio album of the same title. The song was written by Jam Factory's Lee Seu-ran, whilst production was handled by LDN Noise, Tay Jasper, and Adrian McKinnon. It was released on October 27, 2015 as the lead single in conjunction with the release of the album through SM Entertainment, and marked the group's first single since the departure of Sulli in 2015. Musically, "4 Walls" is described as a dance-oriented tropical house song, incorporating stylistic elements from UK garage and deep house. It was released as the group's second double A-side CD single in Japan with a new track "Cowboy" on November 2, 2016. The track garnered generally favorable reviews from music critics, most of whom highlighted as one of the album's best tracks and complimented the song's music styles. f(x) (; ) is a South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment in 2009. ''Red Light'' is the third studio album by South Korean girl group f(x), released on July 7, 2014, by SM Entertainment and Genie Music. It reached number one on the Gaon Album Chart and had two promotional singles, "Red Light" and "Milk". This is the last album with Sulli, who left the group one year after its release. Background ''Red Light'' has a dark and eerie concept, which f(x) said they liked. Krystal added that she liked this concept because she is often given roles that make her look pretty, and just this once she wanted something that would make her look darker and different. "Hot Summer" is a song by German pop group Monrose. It was written and produced by Danish musicians Remee Sigvardt and Thomas Troelsen and recorded by the trio for their second studio album, '' Strictly Physical'' (2007). ''M Countdown'' () is a South Korean music program broadcast by Mnet. The show features appearances by popular music artists who also perform live on stage.
