The 47th government of Turkey (9 November 1989 – 23 June 1991) governed Turkey and was led by Yıldırım Akbulut of Motherland Party (ANAP). Abdülkadir Aksu
Abdülkadir Aksu ( ; ; born 1944, Diyarbakır) is a Turkish politician from Diyarbakır. According to some sources, he is Kurdish; according to Üzeyir Tekin, he is of partial Albanian and Kurdish origin; and according to Hasan Celal Güzel, a friend of Aksu family, he is of Turkish (Turkmen) origin. He is a member of the Community of İskenderpaşa, a Turkish sufistic community of Naqshbandi tariqah. Early life and education He attended high school in Diyarbakır and in 1968 he graduated with a degree in political sciences from the Ankara University. During his time at the University he became a member of in the Free Thought Club which was as a counterweight to the Socialist Thought Club. History Initially, the ministry was formed as the Office of Labour and Labourers within the Ministry of Economy upon Act of Parliament No. 2450, which came into force on 27 May 1934. As a governmental ministry, it was established on June 22, 1945 with the Act of Parliament No. 4763. In 1983, the Ministry of Labour and the Ministry of Social Security were merged into the Ministry of Labour and Social Security. Lütfullah Kayalar (born 1952 in Yozgat, Turkey) is a Turkish lawyer from profession and politician, who served twice as government minister. He graduated from the Law School of Ankara University with a Bachelor of Laws degree. He entered politics as a member of the Motherland Party, and was elected into the parliament as Deputy of Yozgat. Lütfullah Kayalar served in the cabinet of Turgut Özal and later of Yıldırım Akbulut as Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs between 1989 and 1991, and in the cabinet of Mesut Yılmaz as Minister of Finance in 1996. At the Motherland Party's 7th congress held on August 4–5, 2001 in Ankara, he ran for the party leadership against Mesut Yılmaz, however without success. Avni Akyol (1931, in Düzce – September 30, 1999 in Bolu), Turkish educator, politician, Minister of Culture and Minister of National Education. Adnan Kahveci
Adnan Kahveci (20 February 1949 – 5 February 1993) was a noted Turkish politician who served as a key advisor to Prime Minister Turgut Özal throughout the 1980s. He was one of the founders in 1983 of the Motherland Party (ANAP) led by Turgut Özal, and later a minister in Özal's government. He died in a car accident in 1993. Prior to his political career in Turkey, Kahveci had led a successful career as an electrical engineer and academic in the United States, having done his studies in Purdue University and having risen to become a professor at the University of Missouri.
