47th Guldbagge Awards
The 47th Guldbagge Awards ceremony, presented by the Swedish Film Institute, honored the best Swedish films of 2011 and took place January 23, 2012, at Cirkus in Stockholm. During the ceremony, the jury presented Guldbagge Awards (commonly referred to as Bagge) in 19 categories. The ceremony was televised in the Sweden by SVT, with actress and comedian Petra Mede hosting the show for the second time in a row. News for this year is the addition of seven new categories, including Best Editing, Costume, Sound, Makeup, Music, Art Direction and Visual Effects. '' She Monkeys'' won three awards including Best Film and Best Screenplay. ''Kronjuvelerna'' also won three awards, all in the technical categories. Cirkus ( sv, Cirkus Arena och Restaurang AB) is an arena in Djurgården, Stockholm, that holds 1,650 people. ''A Separation'' ( fa, جدایی, Jodâyi; also titled ''Nader and Simin, A Separation'') is a 2011 Iranian drama film written and directed by Asghar Farhadi, starring Leila Hatami, Peyman Moaadi, Shahab Hosseini, Sareh Bayat, and Sarina Farhadi. Daria Sofia Elisabeth (Lisa) Aschan (born 28 February 1978) is a Swedish film director and screenwriter. Early life Aschan grew up on a farm in Vejbystrand. At the age of twelve, she moved to Gothenburg and then studied at a boarding school in England. After that she studied at Stockholms Filmskola between 1989 and 1999, and at the National Film School of Denmark from 2001 to 2005 to become a director. The Guldbagge for Best Director is a Swedish film award presented annually by the Swedish Film Institute (SFI) as part of the Guldbagge Awards (Swedish: "Guldbaggen") to directors working in the Swedish motion picture industry. Sven-Bertil Gunnar Evert Taube (24 November 1934 – 11 November 2022) was a Swedish singer and actor. Internationally, he was perhaps better known for his acting career. Taube played Henrik Vanger in the film ''The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'', and the lead role in ''Puppet on a Chain''. Mikael Marcimain (born 17 March 1970) is a Swedish film and television director. Marcimain has primarily directed advertisements and television dramas, for which he has received several awards.
