The 46th International Film Festival of India was held on 20 to 30 November 2015 in Goa. The International Jury was headed by the chairperson, Shekhar Kapur along with UK based director, Micheal Radford, Palestinian based Israel director, Ms. Suha Arraf, German Actress, Julia Jentsch and South Korean filmmaker Jeon Kyu-Hwan. The 13-member Feature Jury was headed by Chairperson, Aribam Syam Sharma, while the 7-member Non-Feature jury was led by Chairperson, Rajendra Janglay. The Directorate of Film Festivals in India was an organisation that initiated and presented the International Film Festival of India, the National Film Awards and the Indian Panorama. Although the Directorate helped appoint members of the jury panels each year, it had no input on which films are selected for consideration and which films ultimately win awards at the various functions it initiates. Ilaiyaraaja (born R. ''Cinemawala'' is a 2016 Indian Bengali language film directed by Kaushik Ganguly, and starring Paran Bandyopadhyay and Parambrata Chatterjee. The theme of the film is tribute to the single screen cinema halls that are rapidly becoming rare in India. Plot summary Pranabendu Bose, an aged man, owns a cinema hall named Kamalini. Julia Vargas-Weise (1942 – 1 April 2018) was a Bolivian photographer, screenwriter, educator, and film director. Biography Julia Vargas-Weise was born in Cochabamba in 1942. She trained professionally at the Ecole des Arts et Métiers in Vevey, Switzerland. She became known as the first female professional photographer in Bolivia. She overcame discrimination to obtain fair recognition and valuation of her work, and from 1963 to the end of her life, she participated in 30 international photo exhibitions, including 17 solo exhibitions.
