45 Street station is a CTrain light rail station in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It is the fourth station from downtown on the West leg of the . It opened for revenue service on December 10, 2012. On December 8, 2012, a preview of the West Line was provided. The station is located in a trench on the north side of 17 Avenue SW and west of 45 Street SW, 5.3 km West of the 7 Avenue & 9 Street SW Interlocking. No park & ride is provided and the station is a walk-on only with passengers arriving by Calgary Transit buses, cycling, walking or by vehicle drop off. The platforms are side-loading with grade-level access at the west end and stairs and ramps at the east end. The station serves the neighborhoods of Glendale, Rosscarrock, Westgate and Glenbrook. 45th Street Station (BMT Fourth Avenue Line)
The 45th Street station is a local station on the BMT Fourth Avenue Line of the New York City Subway. Located at 45th Street and Fourth Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, it is served by the R train at all times. The N train also stops here during late nights, and some rush-hour W trains stop here in the peak direction. The 45th Street station was constructed as part of the Fourth Avenue Line, which was approved in 1905. Construction on the segment of the line that includes 45th Street started on March 15, 1913, and was completed in 1915. The station opened on September 22, 1915, after the opening of the initial portion of the BMT Fourth Avenue Line to 59th Street. The station's platforms were lengthened in 1926–1927, and again during a renovation in 1968–1970. 45th Street is a station on the Hudson–Bergen Light Rail (HBLR) in Bayonne, Hudson County, New Jersey. Located next to Avenue E and East 45th Street (along with Route 440), it is the northernmost station of four in Bayonne. 45th Street station contains a single island platform, with two tracks (one on each side). The stop also contain a single overhang for weather protection with windscreens. It also contains an elevator, reaching street level to the Avenue E and East Centre Street junction, helping make the stop accessible to handicapped persons. Trains through 45th Street station operate between 8th Street station in Bayonne and Hoboken Terminal in Hoboken.
