Territorial Defence Battalions (Ukraine)
Territorial defence battalions ( uk, Батальйо́ни територіа́льної оборо́ни, translit=Bataliony terytorialnoi oborony) were volunteer military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under the auspices of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence in 2014–2015. The 92nd Ivan Sirko Separate Mechanized Brigade ( uk, 92-га окрема механізована бригада, translit=92 okrema mekhanizovana bryhada), abbreviated 92 OMBr (), is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. An infantry fighting vehicle (IFV), also known as a mechanized infantry combat vehicle (MICV), is a type of armoured fighting vehicle used to carry infantry into battle and provide direct-fire support.
